It’s not bad, but his lower registry, like at the start was very weak, but when he actually started to sing the chorus it was good. I wish him a lot of luck with his career. He is a nice and funny dude.

Chris is a talented kid and seems to have really found his niche. Good for him. I agree he is a nice guy and extremely funny. I enjoyed his blogs about American Idol this year.
I don’t know what it is about Sligh, but something about him just sets my teeth on edge. He’s got a nice singing voice, and his original music doesn’t seem terrible. His song here is nice, and I’m certainly no contemporary Christian music fan. It’s not even as if he says anything horrible in the interview. However, I have this visceral reaction to Sligh. Heh, it’s like if I were a dog, I’d instinctively growl at him.
It’s ok music. He’s an ok guy. Can’t seem to get any more excited than that…
Chris is not only a talented singer, but an awesome songwriter. His lyrics are wonderful and meaningful, and that is the reason that I gave the members of our church youth group their own copies of his new CD, “Running Back to You”. Go to http://www.myspace.com/chrissligh to hear more selections, or better yet, run out and get your own copy. You can also order via http://www.chrissligh.com.
Thanks, MJ, for putting this up for those of us who don’t get the Gospel Music Channel. Risa
Wow. I think Chris sounds really good here, being a small studio and all. He really has an awesome voice.
Chris is a real sweetie pie. And he does have powerful voice.
Risalea pointed out on Chris’s blog that there’s a bonus song, “Let You Know” on the Gospel Music Channel website:
