The list of celebrities dancing in the new season of Dancing of the Stars was revealed on Sunday. Now we know who their pro partners will be:
Ty Murray will be dancing with Chelsie Hightower and will be going head-to-head with his wife Jewel and her partner Dmitry Chaplin. Newly engaged professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy will dance with actress Denise Richards and his fiancà © Karina Smirnoff is paired with Steve Wozniak of Apple. Also, country singer Chuck Wicks teams up with girlfriend and two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champ Julianne Hough.
Other dancing couples include: Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan Roberts; David Alan Grier and Kym Johnson; Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas; Lil’ Kim and Derek Hough; Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmer; Lawrence Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska; Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke.
Chelsie Hightower, is a new pro–fresh off last season’s So You Think You Can Dance. Lacey Schwimmer and Steve-O? I’m guessing Lacey isn’t counting on lasting very long. Chuck Weiss pairing up with his girlfriend Julianne Hough seems a little unfair…don’t you think?

About Julianne and Chuck, its probably for the rating cause people wanted to know how real couple do in dancing competition.
So far only Derek always got a decent partner. From jennie, Elisabeth and Brooke. Wonder about Lil Kim.
My prediction was 100% right about partners of two new pros. Chelsie got Ty. Hmm like uncle and niece. And Dmitri got Jewel.
This year only one male celeb in his twenties, Chuck. All between thirties and fifties. The same with female celebs, only one in her teens, Shawn. None in twenties. Others between thirties and fifties.
Maybe the audiences of DWTS are between that ages? Can we got more twenties celebs cause lots of the dancers are in the twenties?
DMITRY!!! Yes!! He’s hot AND good at choreography. I’m loving all the SYTYCD alumni on the show.
Oh, I had such a crush on Dmitry Chaplin when he was on SYTYCD. I am quite curious to see what kind of teacher he will be. Jewel seems to be laid back, so it should be an interesting pairing.
Looks like the producers gunning for Julianne , Derek, Mark and Cheryl to win again this season. By far they got the fittest partners. Either they can dance or not, that is another question.
Karina, Kym, Edyta and Lacey was not going to win for sure this season.
Still not sure about Chelsie, Dmitry, Tony and Jonathan chances.
Maks had to work extra hard if he wanted to mae it far considering Denise didnot had a good reputation and probably will not get a lot of women viewer votes. (you know why)

i knew that they would pair Lacey with Steve-O. She is the only one crazy enough to actually have fun with him. But I feel bad for her that she won’t win.
And count me in about being excited about Dmitry being on the show. I hope he does a lot of open shirt dances.
I hope they ask Benji to do the show soon. But I also hope not. His waltzes weren’t the greatest.
Go Chelsie! Hopefully she is ready for this.

And poor, poor Lacey…
I find Denise to be an attractive young woman. She is certainly alot more likable than her ex-husband Charley Sheen. It’s just that her life drama’s are played out in celebrityl rags and on TV, and you really don’t know whats truth or false. Denise and Maks will make a very attractive couple.
It wouldn’t be played out on TV is she didn’t drag her kids onto a reality show about her life. Just sayin’
I’m putting my money on Li’l Kim and Derek Hough. They are going to be great together and both can really move.
I don’t think they’ll ask Benji to be a pro — the other kids from SYTYCD are all ballroom specialists, and Benji is really trained in swing, not general ballroom. (His sis does both latin and swing, so she’s better prepared …) Not that the other pros don’t work out of their specialization, obviously … Anyway, hope Chelsie lasts long enough to do some latin.
I had hoped Chelsie would be on this show. I think she’ll be great!
On the contrary – Edyta could be in the finals this year. Lawrence Taylor will be a big fan favorite. With Shawn Johnson the athletes should be a force this year.
I’m very happy to see Jonathan Roberts back, without his witchy wife.
I still hope against hope Ashley Del Greco will return.
