Dancing with the Stars – The Tour and a Julianne Hough Update

The Dancing with The Stars Tour begins in kicks off Dec. 17 at San Diego Sports Arena and runs through early February.

The fourth outing of the trek features a new ensemble of the most popular competitors from seasons six and seven, including Lance Bass, Toni Braxton, Maurice Greene and Marlee Matlin.

Also along for the ride are the show’s pro dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, Kym Johnson, Lacey Schwimmer, Edyta Sliwinska, Karina Smirnoff and Fabien Sanchez.

Check out the tour schedule HERE. Tickets go on sale, November 7.

Looks like pro Julianne Hough won’t be back on Dancing with the Stars next week. She’s still recuperating from surgery. Julianne tells E! Online, “I want to be back this week, but it may be another week just because we don’t want anything to rupture or the stitches to fly out,”

Julianne’s surgery was more than just an appendectomy. Doctors removed cysts from her left ovary, her bladder and other areas in the pelvic region. Ouch!

In the meantime, pro Edyta Sliwinska will continue to dance with Julianne’s partner, Cody Linley, who has to step up his dancing next week, if Julianne is going to have a partner to come back to…

Julianne is set to sing her current single, “My Hallelujah Song,” on November 18. Full recuperation isn’t necessary for that performance–she pre-recorded it on the day she got sick.

  • Julianne should take it easy, she’s young, but any surgery requires healing time, don’t push it.

I am surprised that Cloris is not touring with the show. As Archie would say haha, lol.

  • I am surprised that Cloris is not touring with the show.

I think she’s got some other work lined up. She’s making a movie with Brad Pitt. I think her little stint on DWTS got her a lot of attention.

  • I had no clue this show toured. Why would I pay money to see this?

  • A co-worker of mine went to last year’s tour when it came to Tampa. I didn’t go because I wasn’t that interested. But if they’re coming to Orlando, I don’t know if I’ll be able to resist, lol.

  • I think the music used would determine if I wanted to see the tour. Of course, having an American Idol or two would encourage me to buy a ticket.

I really don’t think Julianne will be back to dance this season. Best she heals first.
