Dancing With The Stars – Top 6 – Results – VIDEO

Susan and Tony are eliminated.
Well, we saw that coming from a mile away didn’t we? In Susan’s defense, it appears she’s been flying back to New York during the week to shoot All My Children. That sounds like a brutal schedule, even for a young person. Susan is 62.
Susan’s elimination leaves Brooke as the only female contestant in the Top 5.
No bottom two this week. Why would the producers do that when it would be way cuter to have the entire Team Suckage Cha cha as the last 3 couples standing? Poor Lance and Lacey!
Cody and Edyta dodged a bullet. If they don’t improve next week, Julianne’s sick leave may become permanent.
It was nice to see the pros dancing again on elimination night, and I did not miss the kiddie dance competition, not one little bit.
Live recap and videos after the JUMP…
Lionel Richie plus Dance Center tonight…
But first:Â Last night’s RECAP!
Tonight’s encore…the group Paso Doble, featuring Brooke and Derek, Warren and Kym and Maurice and Cheryl. I knew it! Points for me!
After the break, Samantha chats up the dancers about last week’s team dance. Cody thinks Team Cha cha’s score was unfair. Team leader Susan picked Lance and Lacey first. Lucky them.
Lionel Richie performs his new single “Good Morning” with Edyta and Alec performing. What’s up with the reverb on this song? I’m not hearing a hit! However, the pros were wonderful.
Now for some results. The first couple safe is Maurice and Cheryl
Back from break. Now it’s Dance Center featuring Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice. It’s like Sports Center, only…not. Ha ha?
Stars Of Dance featuring Dave Scott is next:
Now, More Dance Center. Len says Lance could be a front runner, and Brooke is perfect. I never noticed she had chicken legs!
More are safe: Brooke and Derek and Warren and Kym. Team Paso is safe! No surprises there.
Lionel Richie sings “Dancing on the Ceiling” accompanied by dance pros Cheryl, Maks, Kym and Tony. That was HAWT!
Time for video filler! The dancers discuss what’s easy vs. what’s hard about the competition. I think the producers are beginning to run out of ideas.
Now, the final results: Lance and Lacey are safe. Susan and Tony are eliminated. Yay points!
Safe:
- Maurice and Cheryl
- Brooke and Derek
- Warren and Kym
- Lance and Lacey
- Cody and Edyta

Dance Center is my FAVORITE!!!
I also heart Dave Scott. And the group paso doble. What a great show!
Why isn’t anyone in chat?
Edyta and Alec are so fantastic together. They are both great dancers and have such chemistry. I just love to watch them dance separately, but they are even better together.
Agreed!! I really hope they have children because those will be some beautiful people.
OMG I got zero points this week and I’m the only one who did!! It’s lonely on the bottom! I really thought we’d have a *shocking* elimination this week and put my points on Cody and Maurice. Oops. Oh well, I’m thrilled Susan is done; she was painful to watch. Go eat something, woman.
Can you believe Susan Lucci is 60 years old? I think viewers were so busy thinking about Cloris and how well she did for her age, we didn’t notice that Susan Lucci was in her 60s. She is too thin, you are right onlygirl, but wow, for her age she really did an amazing job. I’m pretty sure I will not be wearing those skimpy costumes when I am 60. Heck, I’m wouldn’t wear them now. She was the weakest of the dancers that are left though. I’m predicting that Cody will go next. I like him a lot but I think Juliane was the real draw in that couple she is so talented and adorable she can make anyone look good, unlike Brooke and Derek where he is great but she is all kinds of good herself. I really think Lacey and Lance and Brooke and Derek are consistently the two best couples. I like Maurice and Cheryl, too. Not as fond of Warren and Kym. To me they have less chemistry as a couple than the others. These are my predictions.
1. Brooke and Derek (I think she is the Kristy of this season and just so much better than the others it will be almost impossible to beat her unless she gets injured or something.)
2. Lacey and Lance (Len doesn’t get them, but I think they are exciting and current. Fun to watch)
3. Maurice and Cheryl (They are kind of just coming into their own as a couple)
4. Warren and Kym (He moves amazingly well for a really big guy and she seems to know how to highlight his strengths and downplay his weaknesses)
5. Cody and Edyta or Juliane (He’s personable and cute, but I just don’t think he is as good a dancer as the others.)
I forgot to watch! Grrr. I also didn’t see the group number was an option for the dance and missed those points, too. Oh, well.
I think the winner will be Brooke or Lance.
Derek is really a great dancer and I think Brooke and Derek will eventually win, but Lance and Lacey are so much more fun to watch, IMO.
I missed the show. Thank you for the recap, results and videos, MJ.
I’m so ticked at myself! I had all the picks right last night and at the last minute, decided they would want to see the first “perfect” dance of the season again so I switched that answer. Lost four points and spoiled my week! Booooo!
Glad Susan was eliminated though. Overdue, imo. She and Toni should have switched places. Toni just didn’t have the fan base to draw on that Susan did.
LOVED the pros dance!!
I’m very happy Cody will continue. I couldn’t take watching Susan “mincing about” any more.
I saw a promo on TV a few minutes ago for the upcoming DWTS tour. It’s coming to Atlanta 1-25-09. Lance and Lacey will be here. I don’t remember everyone mentioned in the promo. I remember Toni Braxton’s name and Max’ name.
I like the kiddy Dancing but the kiddy back stories I could really live without.
What did happen to the kid dancers anyways? Oh well …. One of the best things about DWTS is its sense of humor and is anything funnier than Dance Center? Deadpan Jerry with the bejewled eyebrows and the ‘fro! Hilarious!
I am certain Susan was grateful to go. I think the schedule on her was brutal.
