Whoa! The real shock eliminations are happening over at Dancing with the Stars…
Lil Kim and Derek Hough were eliminated tonight!
Ty and Chelsie move to the Semi-finals! Crazy! Would you have believed it back when Ty danced that first trainwreck Cha cha cha the first week? Ty is way past his expiration date–his dance moves have ranged from horrifying to barely competant at best.
I’m going to miss that little jailbird Lil Kim. She was a good dancer, especially in Latin, but the ballroom dances killed her…

Not a million years!
I’ll miss Lil Kim too MJ, although I will not miss her Velveeta covered partner. Lil Kim did an awesome job. She worked so hard, and she really had some great dances.
Poor Ty – he’s just going to be eaten alive at some point LOL.
Ty seem like a nice guy but Lil Kim should have stayed.
The shock of the audience was proof that no one expected this to happen. Kim is the better dancer – no doubt about that. However, maybe people chose Ty because of his personality, Chelsie sweet, sweet nature, and Dereck has been a bit cocky this season.
Here’s an example of how important personality is on these reality shows.

Glad it was just points and not money I had riding on this one! I really like Ty – there’s just something so likeable about him – but I really thought he was going out tonight. Amazing that Lil Kim went out before him.
I can’t believe Lil Kim is out over Ty, boy I never saw that one coming. She so deserved to stay, she’s a little firecracker with good dancing skills and a likeable personality.
Now that’s a shock boot! Dammit, no points por moi!
Hey MJ….did you happen to get video of Jamie Cullum’s performance? Gah, he kills me. Wow, both Houghs out. I can’t say that I’m sad about it, though I dig me some Q Bee.

I really am going to miss Lil Kim/Derek! She brought something diff and edgy to the show that I don’t think the other stars did. I don’t even know if I want ot watch the show anymore!

I am really shocked! I recorded the show and haven’t watched it yet. No points for me this week either! Lil Kim had a fantastic attitude and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed her on the show. But then, I never would have thought I’d enjoy Ty so much either.
Aw, I will miss Lil Kim. I can see why people voted for Ty and Chelsie though. They are likeable and Derek Hough is, well, NOT.
I also lost every single point in the pool.
I love watching Derek Hough, and Lil Kim surprised me by becoming one of my favorites. Ty has improved a lot but can’t compare to Kim. I’m disappointed but oh well. It’s cute having Jewel in the audience watching him. That’s probably half of why he’s still there. They make a cute couple. And talk about voting blocs, they’ve got that country bloc sewn up.
If Ty was to win, to me it would be equivalent to Gokey winning and it would be because of a voting bloc.
However that doesn’t happen on DWTS because they have a sensible voting process where you only get to vote a few times. That is how Idol should be. Most sane people aren’t going to sit and vote nonstop for 2 hours, but the most determined will do so and control the outcome. (Don’t get me wrong, I have done it in the past, but never again. Last night I did vote for an hour for Allison though, so I guess I am only half insane lol).
Sad. I had one thought yesterday that the scores for Lil Kim and Ty were absurdly close, but I didn’t really expect to lose Lil Kim. Ty is fun, and I love Chelsie, but he doesn’t really want to be there anymore, I think. I really, really hope they keep Chelsie on for another season, though. Surely she’s proven herself?!?
Oh, and next week’s results are gonna be some kind of boring.
I am shocked. Lil Kim and Derek were so much better dancers. Ty is a sweetheart, but he just isn’t a ballroom dancer. It was sweet when he danced over and kissed Jewel though. Very sweet. There is just no comparison in the dancing ability though. I never vote on this show. Don’t know why. I don’t understand how you can start voting before the show is even finished and you have seen everyone dance. Seems bizarre to me. If I had voted it would have been for Gilles and Cheryl, so wouldn’t have helped Lil Kim, but she was my second favorite.
Lil Kim could do the faster dances but let’s face it….she sucked at the slower ones. Although I expected Ty to go home this week, I’m not sad or surprised to see her gone. Ty will go next leaving Melissa and Gillles for the finale and deservedly so….they can both dance the slower and faster types of dances.
True, the important thing is that Melissa and Gille are in the finale. As long as that happens, all is right with the world.
I was really, really shocked that Lil Kim and Derek were eliminated. I don’t understand how that happened. It is just unbelievable. Ty should know that he is next to be eliminated. The last two elimninations, I believe he and Chelsea were surprised that they weren’t eliminated. I cannot get over the fact that Lil Kim was eliminated. That’s the end of my watching Dancing With The Stars.
Never ever under estimate personality, hunor and good behavior in TV. That what Ty doing. Though he is the weakest dancer left in top 5, he managed to climb to top 4.
Shocking?? Not so much.
For the past few last seasons in top 5, the bottom pair in judges scores usually made it to top 4 and make other pairs in rank 3 or 4 going home that night.
Now the question is: will Ty make to the finale. Though it was only a small chance, it still can be achieve if one of other three pair stumble in their routine next week.
People are expecting Shawn, Giles and Melissa to at least had 27 in each of their routines. If their scores are even lower than that in one routine, be careful. For Ty if he managed to get 27 in Ballroom dance, he will get lots and lots of votes.
