Glee co-creator confirmed the rumor that Darren Criss–who plays Blaine on the FOX musical comedy–will be singing the Kelly Clarkson single “Darkside”
Seriously. I think my my head will explode. This will probably be the context: Despite hooking up with a new boy named Eli, Blaine is still in love with his boyfriend Kurt (Chris Colfer) who broke up with Blaine when he found out that he cheated. Blaine sings “Darkside” as a plea to Kurt. “Everybody has a Darkside…do you love Me…Nobody is picture perfect…but we’re worth it.” This will be AWESOME. I love Darren Criss’ voice, and as we know, he’s fabulous with the girl songs! (“Teenage Dream”)
“Darkside” will be the 4th time Kelly has been covered on Glee. The first time was “My Life Would Suck Without You” in Season 1. “Stronger” and “Cry” were covered in Season 3.
