Daughtry B-Side “Back Again”, Leave This Town Available for Pre-Order

Check out the B-side for the UK version of Daughtry’s “No Surprise”. The track, “Back Again” did not make the cut for the upcoming album, Leave This Town. It’s not a throwaway–so if this tune is any indication, Chris Daughtry and his band must have put together a deep pool of strong material for the new album.
Also, Leave This Town is now available for pre-order on iTunes. It includes a pre-order bonus track called à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Traffic Lightà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ and two more bonus tracks if you get the Deluxe edition – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“What Have We Becomeà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ and à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Still You On The Insideà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ .

Am I weird that I prefer this to their single (No Surprise)?
I listened to it once, and it’s already stuck in my head.
Not that I’m crazy about it, but it’s so much better than NS. If anything because at least there can be some connection to the lyrics… with NS I just don’t get what’s that thing all about.
“Back Again” is AMAZING! Chris’ voice is very strong in this track. I’ll never understand why this track didn’t make the album cut. I guess we’ll see once we hear the entire album. Such a shame! If most of those that made the album cut are even better than this, then it looks like yet another solid album from them.

Why are labels still so stupid about YouTube and fanvids? This blog, and others posting around the web, are a great way to get the word out. I’m one of those in between fans on Daughtry–bought some singles, not the whole record. I don’t care for No Surprise, very much, but my interest was piques by your description of this track. But hey, if they’re going to make it hard for me to hear the music, meh, I don’t care that much.

I have a feeling Leave This Town will be way bigger and better than the first Daughtry album. There are no words to describe how excited I am to hear this cd!
RCA usually doesn’t remove fan videos but this item is for sale.
I’m hearing Nickleback whenever I listen to songs from this album by Daughtry. So much for them having their own rock sound. :foot_in_mouth_tb:
I like Daughtry, but I’m not fond of this song.
This song, to me, sounds like all the songs on his first album. *shrug*
That said, I do like it a heckuvalot better than No Surprise, so there’s that.
I like Back Again much better than NS, which I do not like at *all*. I tend to like Daughtry’s more melodic songs, and so this is more like a track such as Home. Too bad this isn’t being released. I am not sure I will buy the new CD, based on No Surprise.
Very catchy song. Too bad it won’t be on the album. I think Daughtry has another hit maker on their hands with the new album.

I’ve found that if you click on the link and just click the play button on the player that pops up that it works and plays just fine but when I tried to download the file was when I ran into problems.
Love this song! To bad it’s not on the album.
Sounds very Nickelback. Even Daughtry’s voice sounds like Chad’s. It’s still a decent song though.

Nope – not diggin this one but I’m more of an R&B chick not so much a rocker chick. I will say this though – Daughtry really has a tremendous recording voice. He’s probably going to blow it out of the water again with his next cd.
