Don’t like it as well as “It’s Not Over”;therefore, I suspect it will be a big hit. :wink1_tb:

FYI: That’s actually “Crashed”, the new rock single, not “Over You”.

    Oops, I’ll change it. Thanks.

I haven’t been checking in there for a long time, but according to a Daughtry fansite they’re releasing both Crashed and Over You to radio. I wonder why? Crashed was my favorite song right from the start and even non-fans like Dingo liked it so am not surprised that they’re putting it out there but Over You is the one everyone sings along to in concert and is extremely catchy.

I also read that Crashed is going to be played in the opening of the ACC & SEC college football Saturday games of the week through the end of November. The band’s having a few appearances this week and I’m trying to catch them all. :smile1_tb:

I loved it (surprise, surprise). It’s definitely one of the best if not the best song on the cd.

Chris did say at the Red Rock Casino show in Vegas that “Over You” was their next single. Maybe “Crashed” is being released to rock stations as opposed to AC?

ETA: Thanks for posting this, MJ.

I like “Crashed,” too. I prefer “Used To” to “Over You,” though, and I hope that one is released as a single later on, as well.

Someone mentioned Dingo! Is she back on here? Ha! Hope so.

“Crashed” was released to rock radio only (just like “What I Want”) on 9/10/07. I expect the song will be released to pop/ac somewhere down the road, perhaps after “Over You” has run its course.

“Crashed” is my favorite song on the album. Period. I like “Over You” too. It will probably be a hit. I’m kind of surprised that they’re only releasing “Crashed” to rock radio, though. I think it could be a hit on top 40/AC/HAC too. Oh well. The handlers know better than me, obviously.

Anyway, thanks for posting this MJ!! You’re awesome!

ETA: I’ve seen it at the beginning of the SEC games… I didn’t know it was going to be during the ACC games too. That’s pretty cool.

I was watching television this afternoon and “Crashed” is being used as the music for the new Bionicle toy commercials. I had heard that the song was being used in this way, but I had never actually seen the commercial until today.

Good for Chris. I’m genuinely happy for him. I would much rather hear Used To on the radio than Over You. I just don’t like that one very much…

Chris sounds really good in that video. “Crashed” should do well on rock radio. It’s sung well, has a good chorus/lyrics, and great instrumentation.

I like some Chris’s songs but I hate to watch him perform. He has this weird stance at the mic. Most of the time he bends his knees and hunches his back and looks like he’s hanging off a mic that’s
too high or something. He does this all the time and it looks uncomfortable. I just happened to catch his performance on Letterman and is it just me or is he packing on the weight?

He looks the same to me, Kathy.
