David Archuleta is is New York City to perform a corporate event for J-14, M and Twist Magazines tonight. He’ll also be dropping by the WPLJ 95.5 FM for a live interview on tomorrow, 1/13. In the meantime, David blogs about singing at the Utah Governor’s inauguration last week, and finally having the chance to hang with friends and family:
Hey everyone! It’s me again, and I’m just checkin’ in with you guys here in New York…. eating grapes… haha. I’ve gotten a chance to spend more time with my family lately, and it’s been sooooo nice catching up with them. It’s nice just to hang out and talk, or play video games, or do some music stuff together, or go out for lunch with my brother and sisters. I also got to hang out with my friends, which was also really fun. The governor’s inauguration was so cold! But it was a good experience getting to sing for him again, even though the flag kept like hitting me in the face haha. So Utah time was good. Oh! I’ve also been getting more exercise in, which has felt amazing! I haven’t really gotten the chance to go running and stuff for a while, so I was so excited to be able to fit that in. What made it really fun is I got to work out with my friends a lot, and that made it a lot easier to spend more time at the gym or wherever haha. But yeah. I’m in New York for a performance I have at the Hard Rock Cafe, where I’m doing a small set for Bauer Publishing’s J-14, M and Twist Magazines. I think some contest winners have been invited too! I love New York, even though it’s freezing! I don’t deal too well with the Utah cold or the New York cold, so I always have to make sure the heat’s blasting in my room. After New York, I’ll be heading back to the West coast to LA to do a few more things. But that’s all I really have to say for now. See you guys around!P.S. I hope I’m getting better at not rambling too much about things! I’ll keep working at it haha.

love his blogs… I was expecting him to blog today, and Ozarka I agree I think his new year resolution is to blog every week…please Archie put a vlog now and them I miss seing the goofy Archie…
And I don´t want him to stop rambling…his rambling is awesome… I wish he will blog about his opinion on the AI performances form this season… everybody will get some kind of kudos from David… ;D
It’s no wonder he goes to the gym. Can you imagine David trying to take a run outside? He’d probably have a gaggle of fans chasing him through his neighborhood.
Reports are coming in on IDF that 30 David fans, so far, are on queue outside the Hard Rock Cafe, waiting for the show, and are having a David party! LOLOL……… Love the enthusiasm of these fans…

I may be wrong but seems to me this is the date that David meets the person who shelled out $4500.00 on eBay (the money of course going to charity)for the chance to meet him. As much as I love Archie, I cannot imagine anyone paying $4500.00 for a chance to meet and talk to any celebrity and being presented with 4 tickets to a private performance. Of coiurse it was for a worthy cause and don’t you just know the lucky fan is walking on cloud nine!

He danced and Bri said ‘he has moves and can dance.’ YES. They played the wrong music tracking for Crush, so that is why everyone was laughing. Because David did an MC Hammer dance and waved his hands around in the air. HAHAHHA And Bri said he was shimmying. He messed up in ‘A Thousand Miles’ because he was concerned for a girl in the front and it made him mess up! Awww.
The American Idol finalist gave over 100 lucky readers from J-14, M and Twist teen magazines an exclusive performance, and was joined by rising star Nolan Gerard Funk, who sang songs from his upcoming Nickelodeon TV movie, Spectacular!
The hour-long special concert, organised by Bauer Publishing’s Teen Group, wasn’t enough for the fans, who screamed for more.
“I’m very excited,” David revealed on the red carpet.
“I’m feeling good. I’m a little nervous right now, but it’ll be great.
Hahaha!! Froggie, David never lies. He’s just uber humble! He really believes he can’t dance.
I wish I were a fly on the wall when he was at that New Year’s Eve gig where, as he said, he and his friends were dancing “like idiots.†Obviously, that boy can actually move!

David Archuleta gave fans a night to remember when he played at the In-Tune concert at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square, New York.
