Well if they ever decide to remake “outsiders’ they have thier actor to play “ponyboy”. Daivd A is a young man not effected by the bright lights and has lots of untapped potential . This is one young man to watch and see which venues besides pop he explores.
Wow! These videos are so cool! I love watching the behind-the-scenes stuff. It was cool watching him get into character so easily. The kid’s a natural. I love the person who said recently that this video is David’s way of giving the middle finger to all the people who said he was boring. HA!

And I love the ‘making of’ video. The timing couldn’t be better, as so many in the Archuleta fanbase are worrying over our short, ‘Davidless’ break.
I know. He should have cast himself as the new guy she’s with. Then we’d REALLY feel David’s angst! (what’s up with that goober that she’s with now?)
I have to watch this movie first to comment, and now I ´m all red eyed and I didn ´t slep all night… I agree Archie would be a perfect Jhony…

While we are talking about David’s acting career. . . he needs to do a voice in an animated movie. He would do a great job.

I don’t think I could handle David in the role of Johnny … it would be far too heartbreaking. But it would all tie together well because he could record Stevie Wonder’s theme song from the original … what was it? “Stay Gold”?
(But now that you mention it, an “Outsiders” remake could be in order soon – although the original would be hard to top. *sigh*)
I would love for that to happen. In one of his interviews, he said that he would love to that too. Disney loves him. So it’s practically a done deal. It’s just a matter of time.

I would imagine an actor or film maker will eventually take notice of Archies ability to emote, either that or someone will point it out to them. The more sides we see of him, the more sides others see of him, and some just might be people with a script looking for the right person for a role. Ya never know!
