   David Cook isn’t “Under 25″… LOL, VH1 just had to get him in there, huh?
   Also - dearest VH1 - he didn’t steal the title, he won it fair and square.
   I love it that you can win by 12 million votes and still be considered an upset winner.

   I know a lot of folks reacted negatively to that “steal” comment on VH1, but I kinda took it as a “steal your heart,” “stole his (Archie’s) thunder” comment. Maybe I’m naive, though.

   I’m surprised Jason Castro isn’t on that list; seems like a lot of girls were all swooning for him as much as for Cook and Archie.

   Apparently VH1 thinks the title should have rightfully been Archie’s. That’s how I interpret it

   I’ll bet they are both taking all kinds of teasing about it right about now! I sort of think this might make Archie happy however. He is pretty sick of the ‘cutie-pinch-your cheeks’ comments. He actually flinches away when someone tries it. And if he isn’t at Cook’s level of ‘hunkdom’ right now, he’ll certainly grow into it.

   That comment can definitely be open to interpretation, it all depends on however the reader wants to interpret it or whatever spin they want to put on it. But I think its cool that they’re both on the list, for what its worth. I think to some extent “hunk” and “hottie” tags probably embarrass both Davids since this is all new for them. Where was all this female attention before Idol?

   Personally I think the ‘cutie-pinch-your cheeks’ comments are downright creepy. The guy is 17 years old, not 5. My niece and nephew are both 17, someone going anywhere near them trying to pinch their cheeks won’t fly.

   Oh my 17 year olds grandma can still pinch their cheeks. I see what you mean there though. My 17 year olds and their friends dont view David A as a hunk. It is my 10 year olds and their friends who view him as soooo cute or say he is cute or a cutie more so than a hunk and that doesnt creep me out at all - he looks and acts more like a 10 year old than a 17 year old right now and that is how I 10 to 13 year old would put it, they would never use the word hunk in any sentence anyhow. Now hott(not hottie) - yes . Just wait for him to get more life experience behind him and he will appear a lot more mature but for now, a hunk? Not David A. David Cook is more hunky in the older teens minds.

   Someone suggested on here when the Beautiful People story was posted, in regards to David Cook, that for the most part the people chosen for these silly titles are the people that have the “loudest” publicists not because they really are all about the “hunk”. I think MJ said “bingo” to that suggestion back then.

   i don’t know about that….i think other 17 year olds just try to look and act so much older than they are so he seems younger sometimes…while he is acting like 17

   well i am a 23 year old female and think they are both very cute, so congrats to them!

    While I do believe both Davids should be on the list (although I hesitate to call Archie a ‘hunk’), I have to say there’s a lot of fluff on there. Maybe the list should have been 15 hottest hunks under (or exactly) 25? Examples:

    Jonah Hill: Comedic gold, but not a hunk

    Nick Hogan: In prison for causing his ‘friend’ irreparable physical injury with his irresponsible driving = not a hunk

    Lil’ Wayne: Scary, yes. Hunk, no.

    Donnie Klang: Who? Exactly.

    I don’t think either of them are hunks. I just think that they are mad talented, so maybe that makes both of them hot. I think on stage they become more than the sum of their parts otherwise. In two or three years Archie may grow into it. Who knows? He’s certainly adorable.

    Amen Joanna! When I saw Nick Hogan on there I was like WTH? 90% of them were fug. I think the Davids were the best looking!

    Oh yes that goes without saying but I think they are just referring to their “hunkiness” and David A as a hunk just struck me funny not his talent.

    One of Arca’s videos from Las Vegas. He’s a goof talking but he’s getting into the hunk think at the beginning doing Apologize. About 5:30 minutes in, the girls go totally nuts. If he can get some of his performing confidence into his off stage persona, there’s some potential here (in about two-three years.) (that list is too full of losers to take too seriously though :)

    YEP YEP - David A can grow into it, he’s got all the right parts in the right places but then look at Donny Osmond. I kinda relate David A’s look and innocence to him and that man still looks like a cute little boy, lucky him. (not his singing !!!! no no no)

    Well, Websters says a hunk is an attractive, well-built man. That’s rather vague, so they probably qualify as hunks for the 25-year-old and younger set of guys. It’s in the eyes of the beholder I guess, lol.

    They both qualify for “cute” however, especially DA.

    They’re hunks of what? I don’t see Archie as a hunk either, but, a cute, adorable, 17 year old with mad talent. Maybe in a few years, he’ll become hunkified.

    Yep these comments would make him do one of those cute aw shucks grins. Makes me smile thinking about it. He is adorkable with a good chance of being a hunk one day. Mj, that Patrick Dempsey did indeed grow into it, and then some! So Archie, there’s hope, lol.

    just some of the perks of making it to the top of AI.

    I’ll bet Cook is just as thrilled with this kind of stuff as he is with the career perks that come with winning it all. How can he not be? And I’m sure David A is giggling with embarrassment.

    They’re both cute but I don’t see the hunkness factor in either. Then again I don’t think of anyone under the age of 25 as a hunk.

    very true but it took him a looooong time. He was a dorky nerd up until his mid 30’s? I first noticed hunky patrick on Will & Grace. I didn’t recognize him at first.
