Ok, “Hot for Teacher” was, um… hot. He just kills it onstage. Just imagine what he’ll be like with a year or so of touring under his belt, if he’s already this good.
And then he does “Avalanche”, which is just so pretty. His VOICE.

This Band is sooooooooooooo frakking awesome from Day 1 of the tour. I’m skeered to even think about what they’ll be by the end. I think that last Tulsa show is gonna be the mother of all shows.

Very impressed, however, that they are already switching up the set list the second show in. This isn’t going to be like the AI tour evidently.
Surprised there hasn’t been any press that has come out of either of these shows yet….
I think David and the band are going to switch up the setlist throughout the tour, while of course focusing on the current album. I’m guessing that they’re working on building a good-sized catalogue of songs to choose from to keep it all interesting, and keep us guessing.
The band and David did great, but at FSU when I saw how small the place was I started to get very worried, then Biloxi took some of that fear away!

I’m thinking the setlist for the college shows is going to be shorter in general. If you’re charging $0, $5 or $10, you can easily get away with doing a 75 minute show. It’s turning into a long tour and David probably doesn’t want to be croaking his way through the latter half of it.
I remember that some of Daughtry’s cheapo shows during his first solo tour were barely an hour long and I think that’s not unreasonable for a new artist with only one album’s worth of material.
