David Cook – ‘Declaration’ – Live With Regis And Kelly – VIDEO

David Cook taped an episode of   Live With Regis and Kelly in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, that aired this morning.

In his pre-performance chat, David tells Regis and Kelly (Kelly dressed in a wedding gown!?!) that he won big at blackjack!

After, David and his band performed “Declaration” from his self-titled album, David Cook.

The video isn’t the best quality.   If a higher quality vid shows up, I’ll replace…,

Videos after the JUMP…

Loved the video of Declaration! Thanks for bringing it here. David’s facial expression is priceless when the woman pops up in front of him. She pops straight up like that toy jack in the box and then screams I love David Cook! Ya , we all do! Lol! I am sure David was telling security what he was about to do when he went to the secret mike. That looks like one fun concert tonight. David and the guys are this amazing band of brothers that just know how to bring it, and then leave it all on the stage. I would have loved that impromptu jam session outside. These guys are amazing. I don’t want this tour to end.

It’s like the universe is mocking me for having moved out of Atlanta. Sigh.

Ah, well. I did get to go see them in Charlottesville, so I guess that I’m not being overly mocked. [smiles, waves to tierbee]

Hello :) ! And where else would you have gotten to listen to banter about… a grilled cheese and chili sandwich? Ha!

  • spritely:

Tony Gonzales was there, too??! Screams.

  • Sassycatz:

Speaking of touching, a video of Declaration from tonight. It gets wild. LOL

    That was pretty funny.

  • leome:

If that woman has a husband/boyfriend I’m pretty sure he got lucky last night.

    An after show video

  • sunchick:

^Ha, Dave climbs like a freakin monkey. He shot up that scaffolding pretty easily at Sunfest, too. He must have some killer upper body strength. Jes saying.

The Atlanta vids are teh awesome. I’m loving this Make Believe with the adorkable banter. SQUEE, t minus 4 days and counting, y’all. I hope they play Make Believe. And ADAM. Oooo, or Anoydyne would be amazing. And the new version of IDIFY… Or IJDIYA…. ~hyperventilates~

    An after show video

Hey, nice ass shot! World peace!

  • seriously:

I would kill to see Anodyne. It is like my favorite song ever!

ETA: Wow I sound like a 12 year old girl there.

  • sunchick:

All kidding and hyperventillating aside, I’m just happy to be going to another show. I have balcony seats this time so I plan to just chill and savor the experience. ~grins~

Hey, good luck with that, sunchick. ::grins back at you:: We could take bets on how soon you shoot to your feet and start dancing up there.

  • wellhesback:

So many good vids coming from yesterday’s show & after-show!
Savor the moments DC, we surely are

You didn’t have enough exclamation points to sound like a 12 yr old girl :)

:D Don’t put a fiver on ten seconds into the first song. Cuz it aint gonna happen. ;) ;) Also, if you hear post concert reports about someone creating a makeshift rope and lowering themselves down from the balcony onto the GA floor while yelling ILUBABYBUTIMGOININ and waving to some poor dumbfounded sucker up yonder, it totally won’t be me. Cuz I will be enjoying the concert with my man from the comfort of our cushy seats.

  • spritely:

lol, sunchick! David will be so glad see a male in the audience that he will climb back up the rope to take the empty seat beside your man. “Dude,” he’ll say. “Anything special you’d like to hear me sing? You name it, it’s yours. Oh, and also, have my boots.” He sees you climbing back up, and says, courteously, “Hold on, sunchick, we’re not finished here.”

  • sunchick:

Oh, I hope it’s the red boots. Er, um, meanwhile, the random chick on the makeshift rope will be shouting “Ask him to play Stitches, baby! And Make Believe! And Anodyne…”

  • spritely:

David slides down the rope (and over randomchick) without his boots. He lands, and then runs through many dozens of grabby hands. He vaults onto the stage and plays. . . Anodyne, because sunchick’s guy is a red-booted mensch.

I wonder where the elf boots are now.

  • tierbee:

Stopping by to visit this lovely thread one more time before it poofs off the front page… and to laugh at sunchick’s rope sliding goodness :)

While random chick gets quite an eyeful, and thensome, of world peace. (Notice the boots, hahaha.)
