David Cook is singing…
I’m hearing that David Cook will perform “Happy Christmas, War is Over” at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in New York City tomorrow night.
The show will air at 8 pm ET on NBC.
UPDATE:Â I’m also hearing there’s going to be a “holiday greeting” from David on Good Morning America tomorrow around 8 amish…

I have some trouble seeing Cookie doing it at this point in his career, but I think that he could have a good time with “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”
Oh, you’re probably right, Folk Fan. It also would have been a bit, um, disconcerting considering the solemnity of the tree lighting ceremony and all. Still, a DC/EEB cover of Back Door Santa that was, perhaps, recorded on video, and, say, put up at the official site would make a very nice Christmas present for the fans…..jes saying… :innocent1_tb:

I am actually really excited to hear Happy Christmas. Its one of my favorite Christmas songs. I kinda hope he does it straight because it already is such a great song. O Holy Night would be great also
Supposedly, DC will also be on Best Year Ever on VH1? Anybody knows anything about this? LeftiesRock on DC42 said he was in the promo. I’d love to know more about this, since his Best Week Ever appearance is still my favorite thing ever, pretty much.
I don’t actually know many Christmas songs, so I don’t have a preference one way or the other, but hey, if it’s his favorite one, I’m happy he gets to sing it.
Someone on David’s site heard that he will be on Z100’s morning show tomorrow…
Nope… I hope the “Best Year Ever” thing is true cause CNN’s Hologram needs to be made fun of on every show, even better if David does it.
I sure hope the rumor is true that David Cook might be singing a John Lennon’s Christmas song à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Happy Christmas, War is Overà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . I love that song and David will do it proud and honorably.

The rumor about Happy Christmas (War is Over) is true because David SAID (in a radio interview) that he would be singing it. As others have mentioned, I would love to hear him sing O Holy Night–he would kill that song!! (In a good way, obviously.)
