  Oh, I think he’s pretty much aware of the backlash. For his sake though, I hope he would put an end to this by keeping his private life private and just move on with his music. I just hope the other rumor doesn’t impede him from doing a duet with Mrs Smithson bec I think they would really be great on stage together and would totally rock like nobody’s business.

  First, the Lucky Charms thumbsnap was priceless. Thank you. Second, no one owns David Cook but… yes, David Cook so who he dates and the fact that he shared that with the world… It’s ok. I laughed so hard at the thumbsnap AND at all of these posts! Who are we, anyway, taken by a television show and so much involvement in some else’s dreams and goals? Are we neglecting our own??

  I have never watched American Idol until this year and only made the trek into someone else’s home to see David sing “The First Time Ever…” because my boyfriend sang that song to me over the phone accompanied with his classical guitar many, many, dare I say another – many – years ago. And I have to say I was hooked on Cook! I hope he has a wonderful career and a marvelous life. This guy has been pictured carrying and hugging little kids, loves his family, loves music. Certainly he should have a family of his own. Maybe he’s starting to look around for that connection. He’s smart about a lot of stuff…. surely, he’ll can figure this one out, too. I am just hoping he doesn’t get so hooked into fame and fortune that he neglects what life is really all about. I will enjoy watching his career unfold.

  Well, he does make TOML palatable because I wouldnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t have listened to it from any other contestant. Never. Ever. But, canà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t he throw in a line from à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Creepà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  like Archie supposedly did with à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Stand by Me/Beautiful Girlsà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ? I would have loved to see Michael Orland try and keep up with that.

  GwendolynD…that really cracked me up! Uh…by the way do you know where I can get an MP# of DC’s version of Creep-I love how he does that song and want it on my IPOD. His pre-idol stuff is really really good. Hope we get that vibe on his CD.

  So, the KimCook affair is all over the place now. Search “David Cook” on google news and see what are up on the top list (yes, I am a freak, I searched google news for him). I don’t know whether it’s good or bad. He got all the attention now but not about his rainbow.

  The reason they’re bringing up David’s love life is to make sure all the hausfraus don’t get delusional and think they can one day have him. That’s how Taylor’s and clay’s fanbases destroyed their credibility and career, their fanbase scared other people from joining.

  Oh dear. I thought Cookie asking Kim out was so romantic!
  I got the impression that he had been wanting a chance to see her, and this was the first chance he got. Maybe he wasn’t sure when he’d get to see her again.

  Maybe he was a little impetuous, and maybe didn’t think through the details of asking her out in public. Frankly, I haven’t been listening to her gush about him all season. Maybe there was some mention made of wanting to go on a date with him?

  I agree with everyone who has pointed out the fact that Kim is loud. To my ears, her voice is actually a little abrasive, but the way she turned into an excited school-girl, when David asked her out, made her seem more human to me. I was happy for her. It is certainly an honor for any woman to be asked out by David Cook!

  The TV Guide channel actually showed a little story on her the other day. They were showing pictures of this GORGEOUS little girl, and it turned out to be Kim! Some other hairstyles she has worn in the past were much more becoming than what she has now. She was actually very photogenic as a child!

  She has some music on her myspace. She sounds husky, like Joplin, but she’s doing Country.
