David Cook Performs the Last Show of his Declaration Tour

David Cook performed the last concert of his marathon Declaration tour in Charlotte, NC last night.
David hit the road in February with his band, the Anthemic and had been performing non-stop ever since. Now that he’s done touring, he’ll be buckling down to write songs for his next record, due out sometime next year.
After the jump, check out the band playing one of their new songs, “Make Believe”. David’s last show, originally set to take place in Norfolk VA tonight, was canceled.
Video after the JUMP…

Boo on the Grammy’s. But then smart committees is an oxymoron. And if the past is anything to go by, he’ll just be even more determined to get one in the future. Next time Dave.
love to see the guys having fun on the stage – thanks for that vid Pam
sorry will miss u but be waiting for the new music..and you.keep us updated. hope the same guys will be with you on the next tour…love all of them and they are talented as well.
So sad the tour ended. Don’t know what am I going to do without daily Cookie crumbs. tears…
I loved it when Cookie said last night that he wouldn’t have done this tour if he couldn’t have done it with Andy and Neal. And you can see how much he cares about Monty and Kyle too.
I sincerely hope they will all be together on the next record and the next tour.
More antics….again.
Dave writes the word BOO on GRO’s drum kit.
Hee
LOL, that’s fricking hilarious. I love their antics
It actually says Poop. Lol
Sorry if someone posted this one already but… Riverdance!
(I am laughing my ass off here, lol)

LOL at the look on the Script guy’s face while he’s ducking the flying candy from the pinata. They had no idea what they were in for when they signed onto this tour. Also, the GRO guys are so used to the crazy brotherhood of traveling bands (tm someone awesome) that they’re all like, “Oh, the drumkit now says PooP. Why not?”
I’ve decided that ext year Dave and the band totes need to start their own music festival with all of their old opening acts. And maybe Collective Soul and OLP. And Michael Johns. Bromancipalooza. I’d be there.
I’d go see anything those boys would put together – I love their taste in music
Watching the videos from the Charlotte show is all sad and fun wrapped up in one. Also realizing how fond I am of that darn band… Andy I’ve loved since right after Idol, I found his To Have Heroes stuff, loved it, bought his CD, and shot him a note on MySpace to tell him so (I have a habit of that after managing an indie artist who himself loved to hear back from people, heh, old habit)… anyway, he wrote back a couple times, sweetest guy, so I was a big Andy fan from day 1. Totally have fallen for Neal who I still maintain is adorable (sorry, again, guitar god Neal). Monty is absolutely precious, Kyle is *amazing* on the drums… they just fit, and I hope they can stay together for the next adventure.
Sigh!
Oh, and I’d go just to see David and then OLP… Raine ain’t so bad to look at either, I like
I’m with you tierbee. I love Andys THH and the Luna Despierta EP. Thanks to David I listen to alot of new music! Such as Ryan Star, Crash Kings, and GRO.
I can’t believe it’s over though. Well it’s not like he’s gone forever. He’ll be on my Tv Monday!
And he’s still tweeting – I mean, he even let us know that he’s going to bed, lol.
thedavidcook
I’m going to bed, folks. Thanks again for the TT. Don’t let the bed bugs bite. seriously… those things bite.
‘Cept his mention of bed bugs? Now I effing itch. Why does that happen?
Bromancipalooza!
LOL, I want to pre-order my tickets right now.
Thanks for almost making me choke on my gum. Haha it’s the power of suggestion.
Oooooh. Good idea. I’d pay just to stare at Raine. He is hot. End of story.
I can’t edit my previous post, but I wanted to say, sunchick that maybe you could sell your Bromancipalooza idea to Sarah McLachlan.
She’s supposedly gearing up to run another Lilith Fair series of concerts next year — maybe they could throw the guys an opening day slot or something as a gesture of good will. David’s a fan of hers, after all.
How did I miss that River Dance video?! Hilarious. These guys know how to have a great time! LMAO!
Another “Everyday is Exactly the Same” has been uploaded by angelangiekc. It has a better view and sound than the previous ones that I’ve seen. Thanks Angie!
OMG, the Riverdance!!!! LMFAO. Classic. Yeah, they are part of the brotherhood now.
Also, where do I contact Sarah M? Bromancipalooza would make a nice companion to Lillith Fair, y/y?
Thanks for the Everyday is Exactly the Same video. Nice
Is there a video for this? If there is a link is this thread I must have missed it.
