Ok, I wasn’t really stalking David Cook. Actually, nobody was stalking DC. But I do have an exclusive photo from his trip to Tulsa over the weekend, courtesy of Lisa and Cookie’s friend, Rodney, from the band RPM.
Did you know that David golfed? Well I had no idea! OMG!!111!! He can do anything!!11!el3ventyone!11!

WHAT?!? He can play golf too?! Well dang now I just love him more! Sorry, only fangirly comments here! LOL! Gosh, I tried to play real golf (as compared to putt-putt golf) once. I swear that ball moved everytime I tried to hit it. When I play minitature golf (putt-putt ya know), it seems I get hit by either a club or a ball at some point. Often my own. Hah. I’m just goofing on net speak. It’s all the rage with the kids. When they send texts to each other, or post on the internet they type very fast and use shortcuts. The results are often quite hilarious.

Great that he’s trying to maintain a life outside Idol. I hope that he’s able to regain as much normalcy as he can in his life. And to his friends, please don’t let him get big headed. He seems like such a stand up guy it would be a shame if he gets swallowed up by the whole celebrity thing.

Well we might be far apart in many ways (AGE) but our likes just seem to be becoming to common. I have a son a few years older then DC that lives in Fla and since I have been reading about him it strikes me that him and my son are a lot alike also. The only difference is my son cannot sing. hehehehhe

I don’t know where to post this… but I heard a rumor? that David Cook’s family was being really mean to Archie fans at the finale, and that he has been faking his friendship w/Archie. Please don’t tell me this is true, I want to say that I read this account (of the family.. mom& brother, etc) from somebody who was actually at the finale and witnessed it himself. So, I think it’s more than just a rumor, but what’s up with that?!! I’m trying to convince myself it isn’t true, b/c it appears Cook really has taken a liking to Archie and cares about him deeply. Anybody?!
But yeah, back to the comment above, don’t assume he’s an awesome golfer.. I know lots of crappy golfers, they ought to stay off the course before they embarass themselves.
