David Cook – Total Request Live – VIDEO
David Cook introduced his video for “Light On” on today’s MTV Total Request Live. Watch the video, after the jump.
Tonight, he performs at the David Wright benefit, Do The Wright Thing Gala, at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City. I’m sure he’ll be debuting some new songs from the upcoming album. I want reports people!
Friday night, David is back in LA to perform on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
On November 23rd, David performs two songs on the red carpet during the American Music Awards pre-show in Los Angeles.
And, of course, David’s new album drops next Tuesday, 11/18.

David finished his set at the Wright Gala a few minutes ago. He sang Heroes, Life on the Moon, Light On, Lie, Bar-Ba-Sol, Mr. Sensitive, and Declaration. He talked a lot between songs too. The audience screamed like crazy- sounded like the tour cellcasts! I’m loving the idea of everybody all dressed up and screaming their faces off!

They look like the standard issue rock star Converse All-Stars (also known as Chuck Taylors), and not Skechers. I’m willing to bet that DC wore a heck of a lot of All-Stars before AI. It’s like black t-shirts and things hanging from belt loops and leather cuff bracelets.

Oh it would be so awesome if someone had vids from the David Wright Gala. My sister has MS and I didn’t realize this was to raise money for this-even more awesome!!!!
I can’t wait to hear the audio if no vid though.
To think, we can hear the album tonight!!!! I have to get up early, but my hubby laid down on the couch and said, I guess you’ll be waking me up about 2:00 to go to bed, right? This is insane! I don’t care!!!!
I actually heard LO on the radio for the first time today!!!! WooHoo!!!! I had it up and was singing along and shouting WooHoo, the whole time. It’s amazing how this song has grown on me!!!!!

Right now he’s venting about some kind of behind-the-scenes (at rickey.org) angst and drama, but I saw Lie, Life on the Moon and Light On, and they were awesome. (The video is a little herky jerky, but come one, to be able to see the gala? Priceless.) Although not much is happening at the moment, I think Bar-Ba-Sol is supposed to be next and then he’s going to stream the whole thing again. I think I heard him say that.
Okay, so right when I decide to link, it goes off-course and never comes back to the streaming vid. Sorry!
Oh yeah, and the TRL was swwweeeeeet!!!!! Yeh, he’ purty.;)
