Video after the Jump…

That was awesome! Thanks mj.
voice of an r&b angel!
Really, really nice!
Highline Ballroom eh?
Ok that video is true Elliott. He has to headline his own show like this! Oh wait – he IS headlining his own show — starting in January

Elliott sounds fantastic. Great vid.
Can’t let an Elliott thread go by without saying… Rock On Elliott!!! Still my fave idol of all time.
He sounded great there. I think that song went on a little long–I lost interest and started using the video as background music while I did something else–but for the first trip through the song I was riveted. Elliott sounds so great. I wish I liked the albums he’s released. Looking forward to the EP. (I’d like to see Elliott move from r&b toward jazz.)
That was really nice! Elliot is so much fun to watch and it was fun to see them tagging each other. I’ve heard this song so many times on the radio and most definitely pictured Bobby Caldwell looking differently, haha…
Love the video. Thank you, mj. What a wonderful way to come full circle: from singing Bobby Caldwell’s song on Idol to singing it with Bobby in Japan. Can’t wait to see some Midwest dates on that tour schedule.
The beginning was beautiful. I wish that he can sing it all without the interruption from Bobby Cadwell.
Elliot is respectful of the original singer….as he should be.! Hey, Bobby is still
workin it, but he does seem to lack energy in performance and slightly out of it.??
Mr. Yamin……Just a wonderful jazzy cool soul . He is a lick of honey! I really liked him on idol and was so happy for him. His audience is not huge but he has a faithfull following in that genre.
what a gift he is!!!
I am seriously considering catching the Highline show in NYC…if anyone else is, drop me a note at my username at gmail.
WOOOOOHHHHH….Go Elliott!
Definitely should have won Season 5!
lol…my mom is going to love this. She listens to the smooth jazz station here in Cleveland and they always play “What You Won’t Do For Love”.
Elliott was great.
And like alfphonehome said, I definitely had a different image in my mind of what Bobby Caldwell looked like after hearing it so often on the radio. lol
Wow! I didn’t know Elliott sings like this. I wasn’t even cognizant of AI when he was on but have seen his name all the time. This is the first time I have taken the time to listen to him and ,man-o-man, he can get down! I will definitely have to check him out some more.
Love “What You Won’t Do For Love”, the Bobby C. in my head doesn’t look like this, lol.
This is a great video. Elliott was just in the audience and was asked to sing. No preparation at all and he KILLED it. A truly great singer in my opinion, and so unappreciated. He will be one day though. I have faith.
If you get the chance to go see Elliott on his tour, you must do it. He is phenomenol in person. He sounds great on TV and on recordings, but to hear him live is something else. You get to appreciate that wonderful voice in all its glory. You also get to meet him because he signs autographs and takes pictures with you after the show. He’s a wonderful man.
He’s adding more dates to his tour all the time, so keep checking. And, if he gets to 10,000 followers on Twitter by the time he tours, he will be giving away concert tickets. So, if you have Twitter, please follow Elliott.
He’s at 9304 now.
Bah! No tour dates for California but I will start following him on twitter. Thanks.
