We only saw a brief clip of Kris in Louisville. He auditioned with his brother, who didn’t make the cut. Kris has been singing since he was 7 or 8 years old and is a praise and worship leader at the church he attends. He taught himself guitar, piano and ukulele.
Kris, if you recall, was part of the awesome “White Chocolate” Hollywood round group with India Morrison, Matt Giraud and Justin Williams.
An uneven performance of “Man in the Mirror” during the Week 2 semi-final round was enough to advance him straight to the Top 12/13, but he’s going to have to step it up in order to go deep in the competition.
