Hard Rock International is proud to announce a special PINKTOBER™ single release of Melissa Etheridge’s “I Run For Life” – recorded live during Melissa’s Sept 28 peformance & featuring Crystal Bowersox. Available on iTunes worldwide starting Tuesday, October 26th with all net proceeds to benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation™. “I Run For Life” will debut on ustream.tv Saturday, October 23rd at 3pm PST, part of the 5-song Pinktober performance.
Oscar™ and two-time Grammy™ award winner, multi-platinum recording artist and breast cancer survivor Melissa Etheridge officially launched Hard Rock’s 11th Annual PINKTOBER ™ initiative at the Hard Rock café Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. on Tuesday, September 28th. As part of the night’s PINKTOBER ™ festivities, Melissa invited special guest and 2010 “American Idol” runner-up Crystal Bowersox to join her on stage for a few songs, including an amazing live collaboration on the breast cancer iconic anthem “I Run For Life.”
“Performing my song ‘I Run For Life’ with my friend Crystal Bowersox was truly an amazing and fun experience, ” said Melissa Etheridge, five-time PINKTOBER ™ Artist Ambassador. “And to have this live, once in a lifetime recording of the single available on i-Tunes to benefit such a worthy cause is truly a blessing, ” elaborates Etheridge.
