Idol Appearances for 02/01/10-02/07/10

This week’s Idol TV schedule begins with  Jennifer Hudson performing on the BET Honors at 9/8c PM tonight and ends Sunday with Carrie Underwood performing the National Anthem before the Superbowl, at 6:25 pm on CBS.

Jordin Sparks will be partying before the big game, while raising money for charity. The Jordin Sparks Experience spans 3 days, covering several events.  David Archuleta will be on hand to help Jordin out.

Kelly Clarkson begins her world wide tour on Friday in Dublin, Ireland. Also heading overseas is Kris Allen, who has two shows this week in the Philippines.

And Victoria Beckham wraps up the  American Idol Season 9 auditions in Denver, CO on Tuesday in a one hour episode at 8 pm.  Wednesday it’s another hour of Idol at 9 pm,  with “The Road to Hollywood”,  which I’m guessing is a “best of the rest” episode with highlights from all 7 audition cities.

I hope Kris’ performances in Asia are posted. He twieeted, that the band will be playing new stuff. Can’t wait. New mash-ups I hope.

If they are smart, they’ll show the auditions of people who made the final 24 since if the spoilers are correct, we haven’t seen too many of them.

I’ve got a bad feeling they still have some freak auditions they want to show.

  • CarrieRocks:

CNN confirmed Carrie Underwood is part of the We are the World remake. http://bit.ly/9A14bR #cnn

Also, Carrie will be dong a press conference that will air on the NFL network on February 4th at 2:00 pm EST, with the Who and Queen Latifah for the superbowl.

  • Karen:

Fantasia will be on Oprah on Wednesday, Feb 3 http://bit.ly/ckLDWR and you can hear her new song on YT http://bit.ly/bDSEkP (sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere).

  • I’m a little nervous about the potential turnout in the Kris Allen Philippine shows. I understand that there are still a lot of tickets left to be sold. (Unfortunately, the Jabbawockeez and Boyce Avenue have previously done some mall shows here – for free – so most of their fans have already seen them. That McKinley isn’t a very popular concert venue yet and isn’t exactly very accessible to commuters doesn’t help, either.) Kris must do some heavy-duty promotions once he arrives here. I certainly hope I’m wrong, though.

That said, I’ll try and catch the Cebu show. :P
