    Jdanton:

I’m not seeing the info about the Mike and Juliet show..and it’s not listed on their website.

I put up the other appearances. Thanks.

last week Jordin was listed on tv guide.com for Friday and it was not on their site and didn’t happen . it is now listed again for next Wednesday though the Mike and Juliet site only have 2 days worth of guests up. if it is again not listed for Wednesday in the next couple of days then it probably might not happen again.

Thanks to MK at the boogie board, here is the link to Asian Idol, and it’s the bomb http://www.ampmvideo.com/video.php?id=317

Thanks momo for the link - that was fun to watch!!! Go Taylor!!!

I now have tickets to see Bon Jovi and Daughtry in April, Kelly Clarkson and Reba in Feb, and now Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban in March.

I loved seeing Bucky a few weeks ago and am hoping a few of the other Idols get my way.

Taylor will always be my favorite and will be at the top of my list of concerts I want to attend, and even though Nigel had to tell us AGAIN how America got it wrong, Taylor is the ultimate American Idol in my eyes.

Hey Dante! Long time…I have to agree with you and your superb taste..Oh, and that Nigel is the ultimate ass..Wish I could see my faves as much as you have.. Maybe when kids get older. I was so p@@@##!ed that I missed David Gray and Neil Young who were playing here in the east and whose tickets sold within hours….Who do you have to know or… to get these kind of tickets???? How was Bucky??I would love to see him too

momo - Bucky was great!! He was having so much fun in the country bar venue I went to ALL ALONE (I couldn’t even bribe anyone to go with me) - his voice and performance skills have improved immensely, but it is the same old good natured Bucky with that gorgeous hair and a kickass band ! I had such a great time and would go see him again!

In October a new 18,000 seat arena opened in Kansas City where I live and I am making up for all the years I didn’t attend concerts! I am about to the point of having to get a second job to support my music addiction but I am having the time of my life. I have seen Elton John, Billy Joel, SYTYCD tour, have the 3 concerts I mentioned above coming up plus I bought Celine tickets for Nov 2008. I get weekly ticketmaster and arena emails for upcoming concerts in my area and I try to get tickets right when they go on sale.

I have seen Taylor 3 times and he is fantastic in person and puts on a great show.

I saw Elliott perform tonight at the Toys for Tots Benefit in San Jose. I missed his first song, but after that he sang One Word, Trainwreck, Free, I’m in Love With You Forever, Movin’ On, and Wait for You. The set lasted about 40 minutes. Band was a keyboardist, a percussionist, and an acoustic guitar player, along with Sway for BGVs. Elliott sounded strong and supple. Even though I still have a grudge against Sway for murdering some great songs on AI, his voice is the perfect complement to Elliott’s. They sound terrific together, and I think it’s great that Elliott is taking him with him in his career. I remember their Hollywood quartet with the Brittenum twins, and it’s just the best thing to see them where they are now.

The semi-unplugged, casual feel of Elliott’s set was perfect for his style and enhanced the songs from their recorded versions. He reminded me of why the first time I heard him sing, I was so struck by his voice that I stopped what I was doing to listen to him. In my book, he’s got one of the best, if not THE best, male voices in pop music today.

    Just shoot me.
    Just shoot me now.

If my friends ever read this Im toast. I’ll never live this down.

Wow, due to some Asian Idols pushing it and singing terribly off-key, Do I Make You Proud sounded terrible! I loved it when Taylor did his THING in the middle of the song and the Singapore Idol (next to him in the gray vest, who eventually WON in the end!) looked in awe and was totally enjoying it.

Go Taylor! The difference in the level of talent in American and Asia became blatantly obvious, and I say this coming from the country of Asian Idol’s winner. Maybe I should be saying, Go Hady Mirza! heh.

Lucky me, though. Mall show or otherwise, I’ll take it. ;) I already got tickets to tonight’s show. Yay! :D
