Aw, Ace. I’ve never seen this show before. I’ll have to make a point of watching it tonight. Gee, I wonder if the producers of “Bones” chose to use former AI contestants to bring in new viewers!!!?!? Hmmmm…. LOL
Honestly, I cannot ever see them asking him back to perform live. Maybe I’m wrong, but it sure seems that they want to wash their hands of him. I’d love to see him back on that stage, but I’m not holding out any hope for that.
LOL Baxter. This is actually very common though. Most celebrities really suck at golf. So, once the celebrity golf circuit discovers that you like the game, you aren’t a total hack at it, and other people like to play with you, well they’ll start asking that celebrity all the time. You see the same people in these things over and over. Taylor probably only says yes to one out of twenty that he’s asked to do. (Yes, we watch a lot of the golf channel at my house).

SpenserJ - I think you are right - Idol shows no love toward Taylor at all. Have you noticed his face rarely appears on screen when they pan the past Idols? They never wanted him to win.
Which brings me to Clay as well. I think he truly pissed somebody off at Idol. He said in a recent interview that he has not been asked back after appearing on Season 5. IMO he made quite a stir with his surprise appearance. It sort of sucked the air out of their little plan to have him dress like Michael Sandecki (Clay impersonator). He showed up with a new do and threw them a curve ball. Clay’s part time bodyguard at that time, Aron, can’t remember last name - was interviewed on the way to Idol that night and said that he and Clay were going to “piss off a few people tonight”.
Both Taylor and Clay have had to bear a few lumps at the hand of Idol.

Agreed, but with their fanbases they will probably be the ones to have the career longevity 10 or 20 years down the line.
I would love to see Taylor make an appearance again. It would be nice if they would actually announce him beforehand.

OMFG! Before I rant and lose my sh*t, let me calmly say that I’m glad PJ was given such a lovely gift this evening. Both Brandon & Ace looked FINE, and Ace sounded great!
Now…. What the mutha-f*#king f*#k was that?? There I am, gleefully enjoying one of my favorite shows - thinking, wow I think this was my favorite episode ever - and then - she SHOT BOOTH! I nearly had a coronary. For the love of all that is holy, I am certain that my boy Seeley is not dead (and, because I’m a big believer in contract extensions). But, for real - I did not see that coming.
Hope those of you who watched it for the first time to see the AI alumni enjoyed it. It’s a great show. Well, except when bullets are flying at my favorite characters. But, whatever.
So - I guess you all know where I’ll be next Monday night.
