  • Little Boy Blue:

Looks like Kat Mcphee has a song on iTunes entitled : I KNOW WHAT BOYS LIKE.

    Here it is :

Looks like it’s Kat McPhee with her new single featured in the new comedy movie “The House Bunny”.

  • Lu:

Thanks LBB. I was wondering what Kat was going to preform on Kimmel.

*BLINKS* No she di’int. Kat McPhee covering the CLASSIC 80’s New Wave Tune from the Waitresses “I Know What Boys Like”?

    Absolutely ATROCIOUS.

In case ya all are wondering, this is the way it’s really done. I’ll need to watch it 10 times to bleach my brain:

Poor Patty Donahue is rolling in her grave right about now.

By the way, Lu, Kat is an actress now! She may not be singing at all, just promoting her movie.

  • Lu:

LOL MJ… I just listened myself….. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Am I allowed to lol about the actress comment? :)

  • JudyOhio:

    Just gave it a listen.

    :thumbdown_tb:

  • Paula:

That’s one movie I won’t go to see.

  • Brentwood:

Kat will be good in the movie—–she majored in Musical Theater at Boston Conservatory. As for the song, it really doesn’t require her to use her talent much, but it’s fine for what it is—–a cute song that I think is supposed to run over the closing credits of the movie. She’s backed up by the rest of her sorority sisters and their “Housebunny”, Anna Faris. Emma Stone does the rap section . And with Kat, Anna, and Emma in the same flic, that’s one movie I wouldn’t miss if you held a gun to my head. And she’s on the Kimmel show to promote the movie, I don’t imagine she’ll be performing.

  • abbysee:

Simply ridiculous and pretty much pointless, like this movie as far as I am concerned. I just keep thinking in my best Amy Winehouse voice, ‘what kind of ***kery is this’? LOL!

  • blairw:

she sounds awesome. i could do without the other girls rapping etc though…

  • CRB:

All the rapping in the song is Emma Stone, not Katharine. The backing vocals are members of the rest of the cast. Katharine’s voice is pretty distinctive here and it is the lead vocal.

This song is supposed to play over the end credits of the move and be on the soundtrack album. Kat sounds good to me although I’m not hearing much of the original tongue-in-cheek fun present in the original.

Katharine is supposed to sing Like A Virgin at the karaoke bar in her part as an 8 month pregnant hippie chick in the movie so I’m expecting a warm reception around here for that. :lol_ee:
