Highlights
- The Idols all fall into negative territory this week on both the album and download charts. Only the Jordan Sparks single “One Step at a Time” sees a sales increase this week from 11K last week to 14K this week, for a total of 114K. It continues to languish on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart at #7. After 5 weeks on that chart, it has yet to graduate to the Billboard Hot 1oo.
- “Time of My Life,” David Cook debuts on the Hot 100 Airplay chart at #67. It falls down the Hot 100 from 41-51. Sales for the single are decreasing (from 44K last week to 35K this week; from 23-30 on Hot Digital Songs). However, radio play on AC and Hot AC in particular, is increasing. It rose 13-11 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and 20-16 on the Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks chart.

Jordin should get a nice bump next week with her performance of One Step At A Time on SYTYCD and will very likely make the Hot 100 . it is currently up to #42 on itunes and at this time last week was around #100. airplay is also gaining a bit.
According to the chart I am looking at, DC is at #42 and Jordin fell a bit back down to #45. Nevertheless, it is better than last week (no doubt thanks to SYTYCD) and it looks like Cookie is holding relatively steady.

The Billboard Chart isn’t wrong.
Cook had a 20% decrease in sales this week, hence he is falling on the Hot 100. However he is getting airplay on the AC and Hot AC formats–that’s why TOML is climbing the AC charts.
Jordin’s sales for “One Step at a Time increased by 28% this week, but not enough to get her on to the Hot 100. She’ll get a nice bump next week, due to her SYTYCD appearance this week.
