The marketing peeps at Jive?  Evil geniuses.  At least when it comes to marketing to teenagers…

Thanks for all the work you do puting this together. One correction, Crush just got on the Hot 100 Airplay chart so it def never had a peak position of 1.

Jordin is becoming a chart queen equal to Rihanna in pumping out those hits.

I probably cut and pasted it from the Hot 100 and didn’t change it. The peak position is this week’s position, of course. Thanks.

Although it’s not doing so well on iTunes (promo would help, Arista), Kristy Lee Cook’s 15 Minutes of Shame seems to be climbing due to country airplay. It moved up from 46-42 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

For those who are as chart-obsessed as I, here’s the daily teeter-totter of TOML on the Mediabase AC chart for the last several days:

    Today, Sunday: #1
    Yesterday: #2
    Friday: #1
    Thursday: #2
    Wednesday: #3
    Tuesday: #2
    Monday: #1
    A week ago, Sunday: #3

Last Sunday, when he had lost 22 spings overnight, I thought the inevitable decline had begun. But noooo. . .the rainbow was just storing up energy to appear above the horizon again the very next day.

Sara B and Leona have been doing the bounce-around, too.

This is fun. I am nuts.

P.S. He is dropping stone-like on the Hot40, but there is still to come. . .Oprah.
