And usually, when you bomb so bad that it looks like you might go your fanbase rallies. Plus he has a body of work to fall back on, and last week he was pretty great. That said, I'm sure he got almost no casual votes last night. In a tight race, that could hurt him. Hmmmm... 2. Kris - His fans should be fired up about his appearance in the bottom 3 last week. Even if the judges didnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t appreciate the difficultly of Janisà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ verses, criticizing Allison for hanging her performance on the choruses, the fact that she pulled off such a gut-wrenching blues number (which happened to fit her voice perfectly), speaks volumes of her potential. Another example why Allison is prime Idol material? She totally gets it. An obviously astute student of the show, she knew that picking à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Piece Of My Heartà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  would have been another à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“been there, done thatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  Idol moment. As for (finally) speaking up post-judging (and refusing to beg – you go, girl!), it may have endeared her to TV audiences even more.
