I don’t know why the spot would have gone to Danny, he’s not signed by Jive or 19. It seems like the gig was set-up by Jive, so of course they replaced Kris with one of their other artists.

Yeah that does makes sense, I didn’t think of that connection.

Allison filling in will be great for her because I don’t think she performed on a live national show since being eliminated. I am curious as to why this didn’t go to Danny, it would have been a great boost for him.

If Kris decides to perform tonight (the show is tonight right), I know the crowd will show him a lot of love and support.

I am just speculating here, but I remember him saying on one of those fan chats a few weeks ago hat his grandmother was dying.

Yes, you’re right. In his chat on June 18 he said his grandmother was in the hospital and that she was dying. There were reports she was in the hospital earlier.

She’s trying to build a life for him. I can’t fault her for doing something that a) brings money in and b) could lead to something far greater for them as a family. Yeah, she could have waited for him to be older…but when opportunity comes, you take it. This is not only for her. This is for him too.

My opinion, which has nothing to do with her gender, is that if she could have waited until her very young son was a few years older (school age perhaps) this separation would have been easier on him. That’s all.

I think it would be harder on school aged children, personally. Younger kids are more malleable. I still would think it unwise to turn down that much money that could really help to make a better life for your child’ ¦.pay for college, perhaps?

Megan will be 24 in August. Idol has a cut off age of 29, so any way you look at it her son will be at the most 6 years old when she is 29. Plus she would have had to go through the process of being selected when she had just made 28.

Word on DCO is that DC & the band also performed Heroes and it was aired on the MLB network.

Oh pooh! I only saw “Declaration” on ESPN, which I might add, I struggled to find for the first time on my TV lineup. Heh. I’m not even sure I even have the MLB network, let alone where in the heck it would be. I sure hope someone recorded “Heroes,” for those of us who rarely — if ever — venture to sports networks.

I just read the new story. They aren’t even claiming that he’s a diva this time, they are just saying that some nameless source insists he is. They even end the article with ‘Do you buy the claims from this insider to the Enquirer, most reports have dubbed Adam Lambert as quite accommodating to his peers and his fans’. Seems like a pointless story, but at least they call him ‘the sexy young singer’ !

That’s because the like is to a report about the National Enquirer story. As far as I can tell, National Enquirer hasn’t put their story online yet.

There are now couples in the US military with children, who have been deployed at the same time.

You do what you gotta do to survive – in the old days the extended family was more present to give a hand in those cases and I imagine the extended family as in Megan’s case is still playing a role.
