Adam took to the stage with grace, precision and was a crowd favourite in Vancouver. He also interacted with his fellow performers with a commoderie usually found in seasoned performers. As the American Idol tour travels from city to city, there have been reports of Adam’s diva-like conduct. From our experience at the Vancouver media conference and during the meet-and-greet, Adam seemed to have fun, acted very professional and was sincere in every way. He even had some time to joke with Allison Iraheta, chat with the media and sign autographs. If that’s diva-like, then the music world should have more diva’s.

It seems crystal clear to me that Adam's self confidence and his politeness and his ability to interview so succinctly come directly from his Mom and also from his Dad. These are people that worked at being Parents and "helped" their kids out rather than throwing them to the wolves. They obviously didn't interfere with Adam's life but they were there for him with love and support. Leila wasn't shy about offering advise and Adam wasn't shy about letting her know that he could deal with the issues as they came up. I am so impressed that Adam is going to have Leila working with him. She will continue to be the rock and the grounding force in his life. All parents and children should be as fortunate as the Lamberts have been...to have Adam get to a nice place in his life and to include his family in all of the bonuses that this new life has to offer. But for me, the 23 second Meatloaf-Adam video was just the icing on the cake!
It also made me think that it would be great to here Adam sing his ‘dad’s’  song Bat Out of Hell! Hah!
