No offense to Kat, but I’m not sure how that last one made it on there. It’s not exactly tearing up the charts like most of the other tracks. Nevertheless, the “Now” series sales like crazy so it’s always nice to be included.

I don’t know how people manage the videotaping (I’ve never been able to stand that still at a concert and god knows nobody needs to hear me singing along, which I also can’t help) but I am so glad they do. I think back to some of the epic concerts I went to years ago and only wish camcorders and youtube had been around then!

I’m also laughing that you got the movie theater story, even if cleaned up for a general audience. *g* Did he reveal who the culprit was?

No restaurant encounters this time but I was only like 4 rows back and it was amazing. I’m sure lots of videos will surface, some of which will have me either saying WOOOOOOO or singing along because I swear everyone around me was videotaping the show!

Wow, this is really intreseting. It indicates that Danny has a really strong AI fanbase, does it not?

Danny seems to be holding his AI fanbase and growing it some, from what you can make of the twitter statistics. Kris recently passed him, but it took several months for Kris to get there even though Kris (and Adam) have both had a lot more national press exposure than Danny since the AI finale.
Some of his naysayers were putting out theories that Danny’s twitter peeps would drop off like crazy once the tour ended, but instead his followers have continued to grow steadily. He’ll probably do even better once he starts doing promotion for the single due out next month, and that event he has with Ryan Seacrest’s radio station in November.

That’s great! I think he’ll be a slow burner. With all the action going on with Adam right now, I still think Kris is getting what he wants. He is booked for a lot of live concerts, he’s decided on touring and he gets to co headline with a lot of great musicians.

Good to hear that Danny’s album is coming right along — and at a deliberate but not-too-rushed pace, just what his fans want to see.

Frustrating though that almost no tidbits are leaking out compared to what was heard about Kris, Allison, and Adam’s recording activities over the summer. It would be nice to learn who some of the songwriters and other collaborators may be, beyond Mark Bright as producer and one of the session musicians whose name recently came to light.
