There were a couple of peeps who heard Ryan Seacrest mention something about a big announcement regarding Adam ‘coming soon’  and that if you wanted him to come to your city on tour, write in or call in ‘” something. This was discussed yesterday, not sure which thread. So, yes, I think the tour is already in the planning stages.

I gave my input directly to the man. However if 19M is taking requests I want to find out where that is happening. This week David Cook played in a city about 45 miles from mine. Next month Kelly Clarkson is playing in my city so I have big hopes that Adam will eventually be within shouting distance. Of course if that doesn’t happen, have car will travel!

You’re welcome. It is the best site I’ve found and they keep adding the new stuff, videos, interviews, etc. Mjs Adam link here on this site has some missing video that you can find on idolstartv.com

it is not the easiest site to search but it seems to be fairly compreshensive.

Though I did speculate that maybe it was a ’secret’  tour announcement, that if we read between the lines (or actually delete between the lines!), Adam is telling us this:

‘I will date on tour.’ 

It is nice to hear him talking about touring but yea I wanna know where and when (I’m so demanding ). Tell me if I’m wrong but haven’t all idols with record contracts toured within a short time of releasing their album?

Is 228 a good number of spins? Isn’t that kind of low? I just hear FYE, and it seems PERFECT for Top 40, but I dunno. BTW, you can hear it on youtube WITH THE LYRICS ON THE PAGE. When you do, you hear how the lyrics and the music completely intertwine. It’s pretty cool. (Plus I didn’t know all the lyrics, so that was helpful. )

YAY on EW. They are pretty influential (I think). They have a large readership, and yes, they do like Adam (remember, he was on the cover before the finale).

I shall stop worrying at this time. Just fix things, iTunes. Adam is off the hot 100 again. Feh.

Hi guys, I mostly lurk but since I will be out of town and not sure how often I can get to a computer I wanted to put in a quick post. I listened one more time to Adam’s FYE snippets (after maybe 50 listens) and I have to say this is STELLAR work. I think this album has put to rest the anxiety over whether Adam’s music will be good. I really don’t think initial sales are all that important because the quality of this music will speak for itself. I am so pleased and excited that this hurdle is over and I am just looking forward!!! to the album and AMA.

ITA – and the more I think of it, the more I wonder if Adam isn’t being primed to be much more of an album/tour artist than a singles artist. Selling the single primarily on his site in connection with a special deluxe album has me thinking that especially.

Sure, singles are great too (obviously) but maybe the strategy is much more about the other two over huge singles pushes. Though I personally think FYE deserves to be a hit on the pop charts – it easily fits in with what I hear everyday on the radio (and that voice makes it a huge step above almost everything else on the radio).

Yay!!! That is definitely great news. I’m always a little nervous about EW’s take on Adam, so this is cool.

That’s great! Damn straight he’s the number one must have of the week Or any week! EW pretty much loves Adam from what I can tell. Sure, they snark on him too (mainly over fashion or the album cover), but when it comes to his talent they have mad respect for him.

ETA: FWIW – I subscribe to EW, and seem to hear about the hot new artists from here first (e.g. Lady Gaga before she really got big, Katy Perry before that (EW was pimping I Kissed a Girl, etc.) So good stuff, definitely! !
