MS: Your first single is called “Live Like We’re Dying”. Keeping with that theme, if you had to wrestle a bear or outrun a cheetah, which would you choose?
KA: I would wrestle a bear because I could find a way to make it like me and it wouldn’t kill me. I feel like we would end up cuddling in a cave somewhere.
MS: If you could’ve added one extra natural disaster to the lyrics of yor Idol coronation song “No Boundaries”, what would it hae been?

KA: [sighs] You know what?We just moved a lot of stuff from Arkansas to L.A. They’re probably in those boxes, and my wife is probably hanging them up right now, as we speak.
MS: Which event would you have demanded more money to play: Khloe
Kardashian’s wedding or Simon Cowell’s birthday?
KA: Errr. Probably the Kardashian thing. A lot of dramatic women there. I would’ve needed a lot [of money] to play there. If you did something wrong, They;d come at you with knives and stuff.
MS: Jamie Foxx declared he was a fan of yours when he guested on Idol and sang his hit “Blame It [On the Alcohol]“. What do you blame on the alcohol?
KA: You know what I blame alcohol for? Lindsay Lohan. Thanks. Thanks, alcohol. I have to hear about her all the time on TMZ now.

But beneath the flashy trappings lurks a trippy hippie heart, and Lambert’s sunny affirmations help make ‘For Your Entertainment’  a shiny party album worth keeping on the morning after.

We only have the words of the girl interviewing Adam about what was discussed between her and the PR person and the jist of the conversation was taken from her recollection of the events. I am sure that there were things said, and specifically about any politicizing that was to be verboten during the interview….but the rest is her paraphrasing the discussion and relating it to her Editor. Second hand information is not always the best and that is why it is called heresay in a court of law.

She was protecting her job when she reported to the Editor…and unless he was also in the room (which I don’t know) then her relay of the discussion CAN BE construed to protect her as an interviewer who didn’t get what her editor wanted.

Besides, I think Roger was talking to her as a gay man to someone he thought was inside that bubble. His words COULD have been over the top but they were not said for any kind of public consumption. I think she is as much at fault as anybody and I don’t think she should get off scott free for telling tales (no matter how truthfully) out of school.

End of my rant….and end of the discussion for me.

This was a great interview. Adam really articulated well. He has said numerous times that he didn’t want to talk about political issues so I’m not surprised he told his publicist to make sure those type of questions are off the table. Just like I’m sure Jennifer Hudson tells interviewers not to mention her family’s death last year, etc. I agree that OUT crossed the line, but at least its in the past now.

On another note, that AMA performance looks hot!! And Adam looked good in the little footage they showed of his music video on access hollywood.

Excellent interview brief but to the point. I always thought that the comment “gay gay” was taken out of context as it was said by a “Gay” person (the publicist is gay). Bravo Adam…and as a person of the gay community I couldn’t agree more with what he said.

@qtpiekimber I can’t give up too much…but…dancers, leather, pyro…JT move over ADAM’s REALLY bringing sexy back.
