Due to differences concerning the direction of future albums, it was decided by both parties, to search out new opportunities. The press release states that Ruben has nothing but love and respect for Clive Davis and the J Records staff. But Studdard fans need not worry, they can expect a full length, very soulful album due to be released by summer of 2008. Ruben is also due to introduce his Big and Tall clothing line, Royal Statue Clothing, in early 2008. He sounds good, but the song is pretty generic, if you ask me. He could do very well, though! As for Bucky, he was a more than a little awkward performing on the Idol stage. However, I think he improved during the AI tour. When I saw him last spring at Joe's on Weed Street, he was obviously more in his element with his band and put on a fantastic and fun show. I'd see him again! Well worth the price of admission. Oh, and it was fun seeing Rocky on stage with him, too. :) Finally listened to Phil’s single.
