The song itself isn’t bad (though it ain’t great, either, and yea, the “shame, shame, shame” part really is dreadful), but damn — that girl really can’t sing a lick. It sounds synthed and ProTooled all around the block, and there’s just absolutely nothing special about this girl’s voice.

It means nothing probably. Release dates at this point are pretty random and are subject to change. The initial dates will change, they always do.

I’m sure the constant changes won’t be anything different than we’ve seen in previous years unless I’m proven wrong. lol I agree. I think it’s means nothing.

Uh…does this mean that DC’s album will come out before 4 Novemeber? Isn’t it tradition for the winner to release the album before the runner up?

I think the person who recounted the Chikezie story posts here, but I don’t remember anymore. I can say she nicely called him back and chatted with him. So it turned out okay. But I agree it’s going to continue to happen to the other Idols and by the end of the tour they might not be taking it as well.

When I meet the Idols, I always make sure to greet everyone. Well, unless it’s someone I’ve been really mean to, then I’m a little askeerd . But my point is that it’s just polite to be nice to everybody.

Maybe if TPTB had included duets or mixed it up a bit where the 1st half people got to do more, it might have been better. Give the Chizekie’s (whose set sounds like all kinds of fun) and Carly’s another chance in the second half of the show to shine (besides the last song)…maybe they wouldn’t be so forgotten. I know the lions-share of attention is always going to be on J,D and D but it does seem a bit jilting to the other performers.

I heard a fan of Jason’s asked David Cook to go get him. David managed to joke it off, and I’m sure since he gets more than enough attention, it didn’t bother him at all. Can’t say the same thing for some of the others.
I remember Syesha also commenting about it, and I thought she was alot less understanding than Brooke. I’m guessing by the end of the tour we’ll get at least a few more annoyed comments about this from some of the others.

I agree it’s rude, but it’s not just the girls. Fans at the LA show said that many were ranting at Chikezie to go get Jason. This was the show where Jason didn’t make it outside. They said poor Chikezie was getting upset. Not angry, but he started to walk away because he felt like he wasn’t wanted. Poor guy.

It is rude to ask any of the them to be errand boy/girls. I remember Daughtry blowing up at a fan on the S5 tour for the same thing. This bunch seems very nice but it’s going to get really old if the fans keep it up all tour. I think the Davids and Jason should even gently ask the fans in their video blogs to not do it.

I loved the MJ/Jason interview.

The girls aren’t the only ones who get asked to get another Idol’s attention. I’ve read accounts of Cook being asked to get Archie and MJ being asked to get Cook, and there was that Jason t’shirt being tossed up on stage at Cook. . .but they each turned those incidents into pure, generous charm.

I’m pretty sick of the girls whining about the attention the guys get. I liked Brooke a lot more before I read her blog than afterwards. She was dismissive of the Top 3 guys’ fans and even the fans who wait for hours to meet all of them. Her included. Kind of insulting. She may have been trying to be funny but it was insulting, IMO.

I really really hate that. I went by the buses one time last year and I wanted to get Melinda’s autograph. As she was talking to me two girls asked her when Chris R. was coming out, then another group was screaming at Phil to go get Blake. Both were very polite but it was just so uncalled for and disrespectful. It’s bad enough for the ones that don’t have a huge fanbase to deal with the screams for other people, but god leave them alone and don’t delibverately ask about the other, or at least ask them for an autograph too.

I understand most people will prefer one (or a few) Idols over others, but seriously, thatÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s rude and dismissive to the Idol standing before you, even if its not your chosen one, show some respect.
