MJ, I agree that this is a cool site and you do a wonderful job! Having the SYTYCD threads has improved things and added new folks participating.

Well, now that is something different and a unique expereince. I am anxious to hear what thye thought about it. This is a first for American Idol, right?

It might be a first for the top ten. I know Elliott did this last year and if he did I’m sure others did too.

I personally find it interesting that the ones who share this doom and gloom view on how things will shape out are the biggest Cook haters, and few of his most pessimistic fans.

I really like to keep threads on topic. I mean I really like to keep threads on topic. The top post is no different than any other post. Please don’t use it to make random statements or ask questions.

The other thing, I’m not a clearing house for other blogs. I have no idea what’s going on at Rickey’s. If my site was down, I’d be a little unhappy if my readers filled his threads up with questions about my site. He’s got enough to worry about running his own blog.

I just tried Rickey, and I had no problem getting in. I have an email address, but I’m not posting it here. Needless to say if there’s a problem, his mailbox is getting full right about now. Be patient, I’m sure his site will be back up soon. Except, I don’t think there’s a problem. You might want to try it again, or check your computer.

In Syesha’s defense, she is a very self-confident young lady. That’s how she comes across. Although on the show, I really only connected on one song with her, during the concert, she blew me away. I don’t think we got to see her best on AI, the same thing for Chikezie. During the concert performance, he owns the stage during his set.

but maybe it will do well with the teenyboppers. I don’t know.

I asked her if she was surprised about the standing ovations and rave reviews for her performances of Beyonceà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s Listen. à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“No. Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m not being cocky when I say that; I put my whole heart and soul into the song, I think I connect with the audience and make them feel it.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ 

I love Jason. Actually, I get the impression quite a few of the idols are people of faith. By that, I mean claim a known organized religion (my definition, so don’t hate), try to operate by its mandates, are committed, but were subtle in how it came across to us as the public.

His faith is a big part of his life and it saw him through the American Idol experience. He said it has everything to do with where he is. à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“You have to give it all up; then it will come back to you bigger than before. I had not imagined all of this but fame does not give me satisfaction, my faith does and it gives me hope.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ 

One great thing about Jason is that he’s not preachy, but if asked, he will tell anyone the source of his inner peace. The American Idol experience did not stress him out as much as it did some. Good for him.

I was sorry to see Will go last week on SYTYCD but I would have been even more sad if it had been Twitch.

MJ, will you be able to record the Idol’s NASDAQ appearance and post it here? I can’t live stream from here. A lot of us will miss seeing it unless someone puts it online.
