The Tinkerbell soundtrack is lol for sooo many reasons.

Ace = cheese, for sure. Gotta love em. He is purty, but for me no sexy points. None.

Bo Bice is extraordinarily talented. If he can get the right connection with one of his songs, he could surprise many. I adore his style of southern rock.... my favorite AI rocker bar none.

David A as Paul Anka......well if that movie must be made, lol. They could do worse.

<blockquote>Am I the only one?</blockquote>

Nope. I'm sure lots agree with you! :-)

I heart Ace though. I don't mind a little cheese (and that's what Grease is, for sure). Plus, I think his album is really good.

As for Bo, I heart him, too. Totally different styles, but two of my all-time Idol faves!

Man, gone for a few days and come back to so much Cookie goodness my head is spinning. Skechers ads, single news, emails from David! I'll never catch up! I will now have to go and buy US Weekly just for an ad. Yikes.

<blockquote>Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ve always thought that Ace was made of a double order of fried cheeseà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦with cheese sauce. Heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s (I guess) pretty, but does absolutely nada for me. Am I the only one?</blockquote>

I caught Ace's performance on the Jerry Lewis telethon completely by accident - just happened to flip to it when I heard the words "American Idol". I have always hesitated to comment on any previous idols because I didn't watch those seasons, and didn't think it would be fair to judge - but I wasn't really impressed with his voice, and he smiled cheesily all through the song. Although he is pretty. People seem to be fond of him, though. What season was he on, and where did he place?

Folks also seem to be very fond of Bo (who I only know because of this site). I didn't think his performance on this season's AI was great - too frenetic - and I really don't like his hair (but that's shallow). He does have a nice voice though. Makes me worry a little bit that maybe I'm seeing Cookie through rose colored glasses and the love that so many have for him won't translate well outside of AI. But, I suppose that's always been the challenge, break though that AI bubble.

I'm so anxious for the single and the CD. And I'm sorry this turned into a book!

Good grief! Hope that never happens.

Well...at least the name never changes, unless he goes and does something asinine, like change it to Ocho Cinco, or something....

"Well, I think the problem lies in the fact that she committed the cardinal sin of celebrity award presenters, which is twofold: 1. Going off script (seriously disrespectful to the people who invited you to present) and 2. The enormous case of narcissism required to believe that rest of America actually gives a shit how a celebrity feels about anything."

Going off script made Jordin the only part of the show anyone remembers. Those music awards need to be more spontaneous not less. America worships the grounds celebrities walk on. That's not narcissim, that's reality.

I do agree that the purity ring thing is creepy.

<blockquote>Reports from the barricades in Evansvillle, IN, today, David C. will be holding auditions for his band in Tulsa tomorrow.</blockquote>

Reports also say that he said his single would be out in mid-October. To which I say: <em>Pfffffffffffft.</em>

The message itself probably irritated many as it implies something less than desirable about people who don't choose to wear a purity ring. And, many Americans see through the sanctimony of purity rings and purity pledges, as we've been told time and again that research shows they have very little effect on how or when people lose their virginity.

I personally find the process a little grotesque. I don't think any human being should be pressured to declare or discuss at all their purity or lack thereof. (noting the fact that the word "purity" is also annoying as hell). The process gets even creepier when it involves one of those bizarre ceremonies that young girls attend with their daddies.

Creepy enough having dads discussing their daughters sexuality in a public forum. But, when daughters are asked to make a pledge or a promise about it - beyond ick. Here's a news flash Girls of America - your father has absolutely no jurisdiction over your female parts. And, for the record, when you have sex or get married or whatever you do - your partner doesn't own those parts either.

and she doesnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t go around preaching it, then as far as Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m concerned she is free to hold whatever beliefs she likes.

Well, I think the problem lies in the fact that she committed the cardinal sin of celebrity award presenters, which is twofold: 1. Going off script (seriously disrespectful to the people who invited you to present) and 2. The enormous case of narcissism required to believe that rest of America actually gives a shit how a celebrity feels about anything.

Fox News? LOL somehow I don't think that's the crowd she needed to clarify matters to. /gross generalization of Fox News viewers

I still think it was an unintended slip of the tongue and even if it does give us an insight into what she *really* thinks, as long as she is not pushing that belief ~intentionally~ onto people I don't have a problem with it.

I made the same decision when I found out about her anti-choice stance - I don't like it, don't agree with it, but as long as it stays out of her music and she doesn't go around preaching it, then as far as I'm concerned she is free to hold whatever beliefs she likes.

Anyway it's probably better for her to err on the prudish side considering a lot of her fans are young girls. I'm sure her influence is balanced (and then some!) by Miley (heh), Katy Perry, Gossip Girl, etc...

<blockquote>For anyone who is interest-today is Chikezieà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s 23rd birthday and tomorrow is Carly Smithsonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s 25th birthday. Letà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s wish them both a happy birthday!!!</blockquote>

Happy birthday to both! How funny that they are so close together :)

Here's the transcript from Hannity and Colmes.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,420845,00.html

Hannity (the conservative who is also big pals with Michael W. Smith) conducted the interview. There were no questions about her choice of words. In fact, the S word never came up in the interview.

<blockquote>She did a good job explaining why she felt that way, referring back to the à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“birds and beesà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ conversation with her parents when she was 13.</blockquote>

Did her parents explain to her why ppl who didn't wear promise rings were sluts?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I don't find her attitude about pre-marital sex mystifying at all. I don't need an explanation for that. It's her attitude towards people who don't have the same beliefs that I find fascinating. I'd love some further clarification from Jordin on that one. lol.

Jordin was on the Hannity and Combs (not sure thats spelled right) show on Fox cable channel last night being interviewed about her comments re. the purity ring on the awards show. She did a good job explaining why she felt that way, referring back to the "birds and bees" conversation with her parents when she was 13.

I know Jessica Simpson isn't an Idol, but have a look at her pic on http://www.nashvillegab.com. It seems Brittany Spears isnt the only one that doesnt wear underwear. Not sure how the country folk are going to take to this revelation and pic lol.
