It was interesting to hear him say Cook sang “amazingly well” but wonder why the judges thought it was so “original.” Who is their choreographer? I’m guessing Carrie Ann from DWTS is no longer on the Idol payroll.

They really did go ALL out last night and seemed to have a blast. That's really the only way to approach it, I think. I wonder if Chik performed a ballad because he was planning on doing bluegrass Dolly this week and wanted to mix it up a bit, so he wouldn't be called predictable. They were all so giddy and odd. I noticed that David C was visibly limping when he went out for his results. I do believe he sacrificed an ankle or a vertebrae for the cheese, and for that, I salute him. The mosh pit is fine for something like Michael's WWRY, but yeah, I hate it too.
