Today, I’ve got a clip from 2006–Taylor Hicks performing in Washington DC for the First Family, on TNT’s annual special, Christmas in Washington. This year, Katharine McPhee, Ne-yo and Vanessa Hudgens opened the show (look for her performance in a few days). Last year it was Taylor Hicks. Here he is singing a Christmas medley, beginning with “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

LOL, jersey, no. It was a group of, err, very enthusiastic young fans sitting right behind me. I actually wanted to shush them a little, but they seemed like nice kids who were just very, very excited. ;)
