From Idol Chatter, these are the rounded off BB numbers

    15 Kelly Clarkson 31K
    25 Daughtry 23K
    28 Carrie 21K
    84 Elliott 9K
    91 Bucky 8K
    99 Kellie P 7K
    179 Fantasia 4K

Carrie’s Some Hearts becomes the bestselling idol CD ever

  • squishy:

    Go Carrie!

  • Nevada:

Regarding Carrie’s “Some Hearts” overtaking Kelly’s “Breakaway” as the best-selling Idol album to date…Carrie reached 5.8 million (and change…I hate rounded numbers) in 89 weeks, while it took Kelly 139 weeks to do the same.

Or to look at it another way, at 89 weeks, “Breakaway” had sold 5,475,336 copies and was # 78 on the SoundScan 200.

  • jobbix:

So Clive was right in handing out that golden trophy to Carrie? Carrie rulez! :clap_tb:

Can we stick a fork in “My December” yet? :rolleyes_tb:

  • sammy:

Can there really be anyone left who has not bought Daughtry’s and Carrie’s albums? What took them so long to decide they wanted them?

  • Tony:
