Hits has One Direction easily topping the Black Friday week album sales with 530K in sales. Kelly clips the Ducks wings by taking flight over the weekend and soaring past the “weakend” predictions (90-100K predictions, 133K estimates). Danielle Bradbery, winner of the previous season of the Voice, opens with 39K. That’s comparable to former winner Cassadee Pope opening with 43K (their lead singles had about the same AI for their debut weeks, but Cassadee did have a few more television gigs). Daughtry stays in the top 25 for his second week and Susan Boyle remains a steady-eddie in the top 20 range. Carrie, Scottie, Pentatonix and 1D (previous album) surge back into the top 50. Good week for our reality singing show contestants.
