American Idols represented at Clive Davis’s big pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills last night.
Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson performed. Fantasia Barrino, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and Paula Abdul attended.
Others attending where Ryan Tedder, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Prince and Quincy Jones.
Jennifer Hudson performed “Spotlight” and sang “Weekend in New England” with Barry Manilow. Kelly Clarkson sang her hit “My Life Would Suck Without You” and the Joplin classic “Piece of my Heart.”
Plus, Whitney Houston made her big comeback singing “I Will Always Love You, ” but sans the vocal gymastics that made the song a hit. Also performing were Kings of Leon and Leona Lewis.
