Last night, there was a birthday bash for Idol winner Kris Allen, who was celebrating his 24th birthday, and some of the Idols attended and were twittering from the party.
It was time to relax, after a day spent in rehearsal–the Top 10 performed their first full run-through–for the upcoming American Idol summer tour, that begins on July 5 in Portland OR.

Matt Giraud twittered: “#happybdaykrisallen I’m off to celebrate his bday with the other idols. I’ll let you know of any shenanigans…”
Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey want y’all to know there’s no bad blood between them:
Danny said: “Hey u all there has never been any drama between @therealglambert We have always fully respected each other. Relax!!”
Adam said: “@dannygokey and I have not ever and do not have any drama. We are friends. Chill out w all the gossip kiddies!”
So. Does that clear things up? I didn’t think so. Heh.
Adam’s friend, Alison Porter, is also having a b-day: “Happy Birthday to ALisan Porter! I’m seeing her and Tye Taylor perform tonight at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City at 8pm!!!!!”
Don’t worry, Adam didn’t miss his BFF’s B-day party. Michael Sarver twittered, “Good times and yes Adam is here. Most of us are good times. Kris is now 24. Woohoo.”
Kris will be twittering with his friends soon, said Matt, “He says to look out for his account on Twitter. It’s coming! aaaand thanks for caring…haha it’s what he said! back to the party!”
Michael says: “Hanging with the the guys at Kris’s birthday party. Good times”
Top 36 contestant Alex Wagner-Trugman was there: “Celebrating krallen’s bday”
Anoop Desai was partying, “#happybdaykrisallen he is 24. anoop is tired. sleep + day off tomorrow = yuuuuuppp”
And Matt says, “The party went well. Good to see everyone. Even @AlexWTrugs showed up and sang heartless on the guitar. haha funny guy. good hangin’ again”
Alex summed things up, “it was so fun to see everyone again! kris’ birthday was a success. he successfully aged. like a fine wine he only gets more manly with time” Har!

I don’t think that was intentional, as we (the ones who made and contributed in the vid) were still in a last-minute mad dash of submitting photos and putting the video together yesterday. There were a lot of photos and words, yet so little time, so this was just purely coincidental.

This thread is really getting hilarious, and you guys almost made me spit my iced tea on the computer screen. And on that note, I think that it’s Matt in the library with a bag of Doritos — we all know how he likes his snack foods!
nope. im still going with scott as the frenemy. i think his constant requests for the chocolate cake were merely an attempt to trigger adam’s ice cream binging so that adam would gain weight and not be quite as sexy. alas the plan backfired and there was just more of adam for us to love.
(seriously though, this thread is hilarious!)
both of those kris videos made me feel all warm and fuzzy. throw in some of his dad crying and the tie in to fathers day would have made me a weepy mess.
here’s to kris’ dad who isnt afraid to show his son some love! and while i’m at it, to eber lambert too for being an example of how to be a great, supportive parent that accepts and loves their kids no matter what.

“Excuse me for nit-picking but I don’t think Adam hates anyone or ever said that. He answered Michelle that there was someone he “didn’t get along with.” I don’t know the answer either but I still suspect it was Sarver, just an instinctive feeling I have.
It would be very awesome if, after the tour when he is asked again (and he will be!) he just said: “I don’t know what you are talking about, I love everyone!” :innocent1_tb:
I am waiting for Matt G’s pictures off the bday fiesta, but since we have not seen them but have seen adorable pictures of Matt at Disneyland, my guess is that the pics were not suitable for the non-Idol community.
I apologize for the whole Adam doesn’t like one of his Tour Mates reference. I agree, it was during a lighthearted moment in Michelle’s interview, and note that it did not come up during Lyndsay’s interview. Interestingly, Lyndsay has tweeter more than once that she DOES like Kris, tho she preferred Adam and Allison over him, and that she really enjoyed interviewing Kris. That will be up on Yahoo Music tomorrow, Monday, which is actually today now! Argh, need sleep!
Now that most of us have decided that it doesn’t matter who likes whom in the Idol community, LOL, we can get back to the music, right?
I still wonder what will happen with Hi-Fi Productions and Adam’s “album.” You can listen to WANT on YouTube, so you don’t have to buy it. That way, no money goes into the pockets of the Hi-Fi Producers, and you can listen to Adam’s vocals and make up your own lyrics–heck, take them from NB, there are too many there– and wait for Adam and Kris and Allison’s legit 19 music to come out.
Oh, and the Gardner Museum is beautiful. Definitely visit it if you are ever in Boston.

SarahP: I joined twitter to follow Adam, yet he has only 5 entries in 10 days. That tells me he is probably super busy with rehearsals and recording. He has gained over 20,000 followers in 10 days now that we know who “therealglambert” is!

Isn’t the David Cook twitter fake? I believe it is since I remember reading that he didn’t have one. Also, if it was real, I’m sure Archie would be following it. The kelly clarkson i see that matt is following is fake too since she doesn’t have a twitter either.
It does seem like a lot of the others are more free (by reading their twitter) since Matt was at Disneyland. That makes me sad since I wish he would get a record deal! or at least work on his own material in the meantime! hehe

Yes! It’s easy once you get into the swing of it! I hope it doesn’t catch on though, I’m already exhausted trying to hose the worst of the mud off of poor Danny every day, I barely have time to send the occasional sparkly gleam of love to my beloved Adam anymore. And dear Matt is completely neglected. Sigh. But thanks for the compliment Susan, it has been a fun little exercise!
