   ETA: That was a great read, pj! Jason Castro Day in a nutshell. ;) That is sweet about the kid who calls him “drums” (lol).

   He snuck in a nap in the back yard on a large blanket surrounded by his little cousins.

   PJ, thanks for the article. Lol at Jason taking a nap alongside all his little cousins. That’s so cute. Glad he had a chance to hang out and relax before all the craziness starts again.

   Terrific article. Actually there are two on that site and I had not read the other one either, written during the season. They really captured the Jason experience really well.
   The Idols should all be heading back to LA this week to start rehearsal for the tour.
   I’m flying out to visit my son and grandson next weekend but we won’t be in LA - they live in the Inland Empire near San Bernadino. Wonder if I can persuade him into taking a drive around Burbank??? :) You never know who you might see!!!

   Speaking of baseball Castro…If I didn’t disagree that Jason sucks, I’d find this funny…

   Cheap Move: Astros Draft Jason Castro

   I want to give Bobby Heck the benefit of the doubt. Really I do. He seems to have done wonders with finding players for the Milwaukee Brewers, but damn, Jason Castro? Is he really the best the Astros could do with the tenth pick of the amateur draft? An American Idol reject? Heck, the dude can’t even remember the words to one of Bob Dylan’s most famous songs, and you’re expecting me to believe this dude can make it as a major league catcher?

   Sorry, I’m not buying it. No way.

   (Excuse me a second. Someone’s tapping me on the shoulder… What do you mean not that Jason Castro? It’s not the Idol dude? Thank God, because that guy sucks.)

   The author must have liked Jason’s SOTR a little, though, based on this:

   If not, maybe we can always get Jason Castro to sing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.” Just keep him away from Bob Dylan.

   Heee! Forgot or 4got, I answer to both. I can never remember my clever passwords so 4got seemed apt.

   Aren’t we lucky there’s always some Jason crack floating around every day to give us a high?

   Haha, 4got. That’s why I almost never log out of the sites anymore. I had never really gotten into all that text language that most people (even adults who are otherwise very articulate and write well) have adopted. I like typing out all the words. I’m wasteful like that. Heh.

   (I do love the lolcastros, though.) ;)

    Michael Johns had said they were starting rehearsals on June 6. Apparently, he’s a little dyslexic. It’s June 9.

    The cloth looked like one of the dreadhead towels which were a “take-off” on the Aggie towels. You can read more about it on daydreamingboy.com Not sure why Jason would have been embarrassed to show that.

    Or maybe that’s not what it was. Maybe they’re some embroidered shorts.
