Jennifer Hudson and Katharine McPhee both attended last night’s MTV Movie Awards as presenters. Could not find a picture of Kat where she wasn’t glued to the hips of the co-stars of her upcoming movie, House Bunny. Here, she’s got Rumer Willis on her right and Emma Stone on her left. Jennifer is currently starring as Sarah Jessica Parker’s assistant in the big screen adaption of Sex and the City. Love the new do, Jen!
Did anybody watch the awards? Did anything good happen?

Well, those girls sure need some help dressing. I must say, however, Rumer looks a lot like her mom and almost as beautiful.
I watched the awards. Nothing interesting happened. It was probably the most boring awards show in the history of the world. Although, Adam Sandler got a lifetime achievement, which was kind of cool. Also, Johnny Depp was there and won 2 awards. I appreciate seeing him on my tee vee.
I gotta say, I saw the trailer for Kat’s movie several times yesterday and did not realize she was in it until I saw her on the red carpet. Guess I wasn’t paying enough attention! Looks like she has a pretty big role. Good for her.
JHud got to present an award (I think it was with Sarah Jessica Parker). My, she is tall! Or SJP could be short, I guess, but I always thought she was average-ish height.
Really — sorry to have missed Depp. I watched one of the Pirates movies last night (maybe it was Saturday night?) and it had loads of behind the scenes clips sprinkled throughout — it was great.
Jennifer Hudson looks wonderful — I’m thrilled for her success. Love that picture — big busty self with her red belt and shoes. You go girlfriend!
Kat? Well — that’s nice. Not much of a fan at all. I could never warm up to her. That was such a weird season. She’s pretty. ?
MTV has really lost it’s own *it* factor or something, hasn’t it? We used to live for MTV back in the day. I remember rearranging my work schedule so I could be home for the Thriller video deput We used to watch all the time. Good times, good times.
God I’m old.
The best part of the show was when Tom Cruise came out (to present Sandler with the award but that besides the point) to give himself a shoutout for risky business. I am personally presuming that he did that to let David know that he cannot “own” it just yet.
FYI: Jen-Hud is about 5′8″ and SJJ is a little biddy thing. In fact, Jen-Hud said when she was in Hollywood promoting DG, that she was the biggest person in the room …. she had to go to a lot of parties and such.
MJ I want to compliment you for giving Jen-Hud some space, as opposed to that other “R” site, which totally dismisses her. The woman is working hard for the money and staying under the radar…no scandal…no outrageous life…just the way it should be.

the best thing about the mtv movie awards last night was seeing wayne and garth again. i actually screamed. the skit coulda been better but it was good to see dana carvey and mike myers together again. (they said the last time there did wayne’s world was in 1994.)
and i didn’t realize how tall jhud is or how small sjp is. wow.
