I always liked him. I've seen him perform a swing concert twice in NY,soon after Red came out and enjoyed him immensely. He and his mom were so gracious and John signed the CD cover for me. Plus, he didn't really do it that well. After some of these contestants are off Idol I can see where the judges were coming from in their critiques. The same with Chris Sligh.
