The vocals are very good, and I like the song better than anything on his previous album. Hoping they will bring him back to Idol to sing this.
Why, oh why, do they have so much useless filler when they could bring back the kids for probably a very reasonable rate? Has everyone taken the survey on http://www.americanidol.com ? Look on the left hand side of the home page. There are a couple of fill-in-the blank questions where you can mention bringing back the talent.

I was never a fan of his at all but I do like this song. A lot! Reminds me of Jude Cole (A View From 3rd Street) or one of those other guitar strumming singer songwriters from the 90s that should have been bigger but weren’t. Never thought I’d utter these words but I think I’ll be buying me some JPL.
