Funny that he is performing with a guitar, why didn’t he use it last year?

Thats funny. I have a friend in Hong Kong and another in the Phillipines, and they told me they love Adam. LOL Oh well, no matter where you go people put their own spin on their preferences……
I’m glad to see Chikezie again.
I’m sure that people in other countries are just as split as Americans on their favorite.
I think Idol is just popular everywhere, especially in different parts of the Asia. For Hong Kong, I can tell why they would love both. For Adam, he would totally fit into Hong Kong culture since they have some crazy costumes for their concerts- I’m talking about metal wings, dancing on uneven bars, stuff line that. But, Asians do tend to be slightly homophobic- one of the biggest Hong Kong singers committed suicide because of depression and hiding that he was gay. In general though, I think Adam’s voice transcends all that I can see why they would appreciate that. Kris has a more soothing voice and I lot of people like his mellow style, the fact that he can play instruments and that he’s so nice and cute! As much as they like the crazy, they also love the wholesome!
Just want to come here to say that I’m from HK and I love Kris! Last year my favorite was DC…I’m going to catch his “Permanent” performance tonight (with tissue…)
AC, you’re so spot on about the culture of HK showbiz. People here are homophobic. Celebrities who are suspected to be homosexual or bisexual would be on the headlines of tabloids for months and ever after their careers will be overshadowed (tainted?) by this…so if Adam is the champ tonight, I can foresee the word “GAY” in the captions next morning. HK Media are used to making a big deal out of tidbits, which I really detest…
I loved Chikizie’s energetic “She’s a Woman” a lot! I also like his “Heartless” in the video.
I can’t watch til later on, but the musical evolution of Chikezie is fascinating to me. The dude’s got it, wish he’d get that big break.
