Her single, “Tattoo” has been inching it’s way up the charts. We’ll see if the new 19R strategy of releasing a single ahead of the Idol’s album release results in increased sales…

It’s not quite the McPhee ‘wanna do me?’ look, but the girl’s got time. But seriously, of all the ways they could have gone, this surprises me a bit. And the impression I get off of the portrait shot itself is, well — vacant — and that’s not Jordin. The girl is a bundle of energy and emotion.
She looks very pretty, but the whole black leather, grayish/black feel and blank stare is so not Jordin. I always thought Jordin’s smile was her best feature.
Maybe they figure if vacant and empty worked for Carrie like gang-busters then Jordin must follow suit!
She looks very pretty, but I’d like to see more of her personality in the shot, too. It would be interesting to see the whole photo shoot to see if any of the other pics did a better job at that.

Jordin looks great here, but I am one more who would have loved to see her big, beautiful smile on that cover.

I don’t love the cover and agree with PJ that it would be nice to see her personality coming through. It’s more like a back cover shot to me.
I thought exactly the same thing. Everytime I see that picture, I see Callie O’Malley
She looks pretty, but there’s something off about it to me. I think it’s the vacant stare, which is so opposite of the effervescent personality we know her for. Wish she had more of her personality in th picture, and I don’t like how it’s not centered, you’re eyes don’t immediately go to her face. It’s fine though, and at least that didn’t try to make her look really sleazy.
