Jordin Sparks at the White House Tree Lighting Ceremony

Jordin Sparks performed “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” at last night’s White House Tree Lighting Ceremony. She also got to meet the entire first family.
President Barak Obama was introduced by none other than Idol judge, Randy Jackson, and I hope he was a tiny bit more articulate than he typically is on Idol…
After the jump, video of the finale number, with the Obama family and all the performers and participants on stage. Sheryl Crowe, Common and Ray LaMontagne also perfomed.

Wow, that is the most exciting Idol gig this season! Good for Jordan! Hope Randy didn’t call Obama dawg.
Jordin looks great. Happy to see that she’s apparently recovered well from her appendectomy.
WOW! Jordin looked fantastic…and I bet she sounded even better.
No doubt Randy introduced the President as a Red Hot Lava Bomb!
Wow, Jordin is lovely. And that smile of hers is just contagious.
Jordin looks beautiful.
Why didn’t he let me write his intro?
“Ah yo — here’s my dawg Obama. Check it out, check it out! Prez, you’re just awright for me, dude…. not one of my favorite performances by you but you’re doing your thing…..It was a little pitchy, but you know you’re in the dog pound dude….”
i love the laugh from Jordin at 1:05 . she is amazing . also a very short clip of I’ll Be Home For Christmas . she sang the whole thing but it has yet to show up online . the program will be shown on PBS stations through out December .

Jordin was always my favorite Idol, don’t like her music outside of Idol, but still love to see her perform, love her voice.
